Spritzie
And lol, so many weird posts to see on this page. xD Yes there are. I think I'm going to back to a safer board, like the one about the new 100000 difficult Phantom boss.
CAV of Gang Green
Some of these weird posts are their way of solving my problems. I didn't see any bright side in life for quite some time myself. But it is out there. Life may try to keep you from finding it, but just keep looking for something/someone. I've been looking. Life keeps blocking it. That's why life sucks. Yeah, I haven't seen Livvy on much recently. Life must've eaten her :ohno: @Seliphra and CAV, I think it's wrong to say there's no bright side - it's all a matter of perspective. Just because you fail to see it doesn't mean it's not there. It's kinda the glass-half-empty thing. See why life sucks? It eats people. Yep, I fail at everything (depression mode activate). I can't do anything right. *sigh* I should just give up on life. *sigh* But my problems are in fact real. Do I want to read the conversation that caused this post? You've been a part of the conversation. That's Doc's way of trying to help me.
Seliphra
If you do go on meds....don't go with Effexor....it's REALLY hard to wean off again, and the withdrawal effects are murderous. But it's good your getting help-even if it doesn't seem like much help now. *hugs* There isn't really much we here can do to help you, but I do hope you'll beat this. Divya Bean
Haha, Ryan, if that was the first thing you read on the page and were amused, the same thing happened when I read the post at the top about Livvy not having plans to kidnap and keep Divya :laughingsmiley: Both comments made me laugh and yet somehow I expect nothing less. :laughingsmiley: Yeah, that one made me laugh too. As did the leaf sniffing one. o_O
̊ ˉˉ ̊
I've been looking. Life keeps blocking it. That's why life sucks. Yeah, life sucks. It's a well documented observation. Also, keep good back posture. I'm not a person who can explain this properly (an amazing physical therapist I went to, who has been a volunteer scientist for NASA, told me this.), but there's a link between your body & your mind. When you're slouched over, you're more likely to be in a depressed state of mind. Keeping better back posture more often helped my depression a little (every little bit counts, right?) It is maybe a little bit of this theory, but it also might be because I was looking at the computer to closely.
Spritzie
I have bad posture at the computer. I've been that way for a long time. My ballet teacher used to always yell at me for it. But I've been even worse since my car accident a couple years ago.
Tyler.
I don't even notice my posture. ever
-Ryan
Neither do I. I'm usually hunched over though. Epecially in class... xD
Spritzie
Has anyone else noticed that Facebook is now stalking us as well? I'd never seen it before, but it was on the GMC post.
CAV of Gang Green
Facebook? Imagine they make a search engine.... It is isn't it? I tend to slouch only when I'm sitting. When I'm standing, I say I have somewhat decent posture. I don't even notice my posture. ever Me neither. But Wii Fit makes a big deal out of it. So I'm forced to care about it when I play Wii Fit.
Divya Bean
I have good posture when I am standing because it makes me feel tall. I am rather short, so I like standing straight so that I am taller than my mom. :laughingsmiley:
CAV of Gang Green
I'm 5 feet 8 inches. For the most part, I don't have to stand up straight to be taller than several people. I'm guessing that I'll be 6 feet 7 inches when I reach full height.
Divya Bean
Congrats CAV! I am jealous. :P I have always wanted to be tall. Or at least average height. I am currently 3 inches shorter than average. o_O
CAV of Gang Green
Thanks. I always liked being tall. As a kid I kinda hoped that I'd be tall. What is your height?
Divya Bean
I am almost 5"2. *is proud* No snickering.
CAV of Gang Green
That's not too bad. It's not too short either. You'll get taller when you get your growth spurt.
Divya Bean
*nods* That is what my dentist says. He says I will be 5"5. Isnt that amazing, considering the average height among the women in my family is 5"2? :O
CAV of Gang Green
The dentist told you your future height? :laughingsmiley: The dentist is most likely making an assumption.
Divya Bean
Nonono, he does this fancy thing with predicting my height with my bone structure from when he takes X-rays to see if he needs to expand or retain my mouth.
The Score in Blue
Since when do dentists predict heights? Isn't that the job of a GP? I'm not 5" yet... and I like it that a-way.
Divya Bean
Dentists use my bone growth compared to my bone age to figure it out. I got the same measurement from my regular doctor.
