Kookykat1018
How can I convince somebody I'm trustworthy of being lent MSPP? Will anybody please consider lending to me? My username is Janna1018. =)
Welcome Back Apathy
There are a few ways to convince people you're trustworthy. 1) Actually have the np necessary to buy one--this is called collateral. 2) Have an account that's considered strong enough that you wouldn't risk being frozen. a. I have never seen anyone get lent with an account under five years old. b. Have a lot of avatars already--I would say at least 250, or no one will lend. c. Have incredibly awesome pets. d. Have a lot of trophies. Unfortunately, based on my view of your account, your chances are not good. I have not been lent, and this is my account: 1) 30 mil collateral 2) a. Ten years old b. 304 avatars c. I have a mutant draik, although I like my other pets' colors better d. 57 trophies The worst part is finding someone who's willing to lend to ANYBODY--I haven't seen anyone yet. Piticent
although, i must add that sometimes there are VERY generous people on the neoboards sometimes lending for free (no collat)...i never go to the NBs, but i've heard stories
xSummer
i heard once trophies and avatar count looks good cause that shows you care about your account and care if it gets frozen, also you have to come across the right person at the right time. hrtbrk
Stay and chat on lend boards.Be polite and converse. Of course, each lender has their own set of "rules" or guidelines - some make them known, some don't and some let the rules slide. To up your chances considerably, I'd suggest attempting to get to 200 avatars.
summertwinkle
No...it's about luck. I've heard of a girl being lent MSPP and she didn't get have enough funds for the Number Six avatar. She has fewer avatars than I do (less than 150). The problem is not necessary about your stats (although it's suppose to show you put time into your account and care about not losing it and would not do anything risky...but it's possible that someone could cg a good account...you know?). It's about whether someone is willing to lend and get in contact with you. Some don't want to lend, only to sell (which is really difficult because how many people actually have that many millions :O). Those who don't mind lending might not necessarily be online all the time, so what you can do is just keep going to the boards and hope the lender is browsing. Mouseykins
I wish you luck finding a lender! I probably would have good chances getting someone to lend me but I just don't have the time to wait around and serf the boards. The MSPP avatar is last on my list for that reason. I would recommend getting some more avatars to increase your chances and maybe try for a game trophy. I hope you find a lender!
Batman
It is all about being on at the right time. I searched for weeks with quite a bit of collateral and a fairly decent account. Also it helps to know people. I ended up being lent because someone asked the MSPP lender that they knew to lend me because I was trust worthy. Moral of the story don't give up everyone has a chance. Although it doesn't hurt making an account better. And if you play games you will in turn increase your collateral which is always nice. It is better to say have you have low then none at all. Good luck.
Welcome Back Apathy
I know that everyone has a chance and everything...I'm just warning you that the chances are not good. The chances are not good for ANYBODY. Especially now, after a lot of lenders have been scammed. I've been surfing the avatar chat since avatars first came out, but the only time I ever found a lender, I got scammed because they took all the np I gave them and didn't give me the MSPP in return. Tam
I was wondering if someone could look up my neopets account and see what they thought my chances of being lent were? I have always put MSPP and SUAP as completely out of my league!
Sweetdang
Wpw, those are some really, really nice people. Although I've never done this before, I agree with that, though. I need to see that you are dedicated, and trustworthy. Just having an awesome account could easily mean you went through all the clickables and some of the harder ones, adopted pets from the pound, did up your gallery. I would want to know you personlly before lending w/o collateral.
