Spirited Away
Well, you should put it in your store instead. And if at a auction put the price half or more than half of what it costs and put increasing prices maybe 10,000 neopoints or more. Auction should be an entire day.(24 hours to be exact) IF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT PAINTBRUSHES. WHAT WERE YOU SELLING?
johnnxiv
wat if the items is over 10M?
tafeltennisden
in the auctions you can sell very expensive items, i don't think there is a limit, so even 10 million is possible there. if you then choose for three days then you have some time. people can see it through the auction genie, that has a search function
Spirited Away
wat if the items is over 10M? If it's over 10M your gonna have to leave it at your store,or auction it for about 500,000,000 and a increase the price about 10,000,000. Or trade it at the trading post for an item equivalent to the item your selling or item(s) and neopoints.
Powie
Auctions have a STARTING price limit of 20 million. And definitely DON'T put an item in your store. The limit of a shop is 99,999 NPs. You won't get ripped off if you know how to use the auctions properly. For items over 20m, only trade with people who own accounts with a lot of activity (high avvie account, trophies, stamps, cards, etc.)
Emily
Auctions are the best way to go to make sure you get pure in the exact amount you want. You could also do a trade and get multiple items that together make up the 10 million. Auctions would be safer and easier though, because then you're not going to have to go through the difficulty of selling off the traded items. Alexandra Puppyblew
I wouldn't trade. I would put it at auction for 5M with a 5M increment. That way if someone really does want it they would pay the 10M. And if by chance two people do bid, then you just made a 5M profit. (The starting price and increment can be whatever as long as they add up to your decided selling price, in this case 10M).

hrtbrk
It's not ripping you off. If you want it to sell for 15 million, you put your start price as 10 million, and your bid increase as 5 million.

summertwinkle
everytime i put up something for auction, i get rip off cause pp dont see it and doesnt bid on it. You can't get ripped off if people didn't even buy from you. You only get ripped off when they pay less than what was agreed. You can put it in trade and put in the wishlist that you want 15mil for it and to neomail you. Once you and the buyer agree on the trade, you just put it up on auction and wait for them to bid. Set price as 10mil and increment 5mil. If you want to ensure the trade goes only to that buyer, you can put starting price as 8mil and increment 7mil. That way, your buyer bids 15mil and if someone else really wants it, they'll bid 22mil...highly unlikely. Thus, you never get ripped off on auctions. If they bid, your trade is settled. They can't bid for less than what was agreed. And if they don't bid...you can always renegotiate with them. Just because you think it's worth 15mil doesn't mean people think that's worth 15mil (or are willing to pay that much for it). In that case, you either haggle until you reach a mutual agreement or you wait for another buyer who's willing to pay 15mil.
