The first number means how many letters are right, and in the right position. Currently none of the guesses have any letters in the right position. So it doesn't begin with LOO. The second number means how many letters are right but in the wrong position. If this is a zero, it means none of the letters are right. So far, the numbers tell you that none of these letters: A, E, M, S, T or Z are in the answer. There must be an 'O', and either another 'O' or an 'L'. I think playing LOOTS is a good strategic move if you want to find out if there is a T. Don't worry about giving out clues unless it goes to fifty guesses and no solution.
