jumpingbeans Posted July 21, 2011 Author Posted July 21, 2011 Yep. Riddle: No sooner spoken than broken. What is it? Quote
Vocaloid Marshmallow Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Silence. Just a random guess. :D Quote
jumpingbeans Posted July 21, 2011 Author Posted July 21, 2011 Yep. Correct. Riddle: Jack and Jill are lying on the floor inside the house, dead. They died from lack of water. There is shattered glass next to them. How did they die? Quote
Vocaloid Marshmallow Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 I know this one! Jack and Jill are fish. Their fish bowl broke or something and so Jack and Jill died. Quote
jumpingbeans Posted July 21, 2011 Author Posted July 21, 2011 DING DING DING! Riddle: Two fathers and two sons went fishing one day. They were there the whole day and only caught 3 fish. One father said, that is enough for all of us, we will have one each. How can this be possible? Quote
Parry Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 One of the sons is also a father, so there are three people (grandfather, father and grandchild) Quote
jumpingbeans Posted July 23, 2011 Author Posted July 23, 2011 Yep. Sorry. I'm going on vacation today, so no riddles for a week. Sorry. While I'm gone, here's a really, really hard riddle. I doubt any of you will get it. And it's not mine; I'll tell you who's it is later. Riddle: E Hint: Looks lonely, doesn't it? Maybe it's lost it's friends. Oh yeah : You can guess five times a day for this one. Quote
Parry Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 I'm properly stumped ... what's the solution? =/ Quote
jumpingbeans Posted August 2, 2011 Author Posted August 2, 2011 Not telling. But, new riddle. Riddle: What costs less than a dollar (most likely), yet can be used to fill a room? Quote
Parry Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Well, can't you at least tell us whose it is (like you said you would *raises eyebrow*)? Anyway, my guess is lightbulb (caus it can project light to fill the room) Quote
jumpingbeans Posted August 2, 2011 Author Posted August 2, 2011 1: Nope, After the riddle is answered. And don't worry, more hints will come. 2: Close, but under a buck, with electricity? Try again. Quote

jumpingbeans Posted August 3, 2011 Author Posted August 3, 2011 What? No.Parry was closest yet. Quote
Syrin of Neopia Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Um . . . gee this is sorta tough. Darkness? Quote
Parry Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Hmmm ... under a buck and uses electricity? Could it be a torch, perchance? Quote
jumpingbeans Posted August 3, 2011 Author Posted August 3, 2011 Well, this is getting boring. Parry's the closest, so, hey, I'll accept. My answer was a match. And, yeah, fill the room with light. Riddle: Polly Perkins was after a talking parrot, so she went to the local pet shop in the hope of securing such a find. She was in luck. The shop assistant assured her that the parrot would learn and repeat any word or phrase it heard. Polly was delighted. However, a week later, the parrot still hadn't spoken a word. Polly returned to the shop to complain, however, it appeared that the assistant was accurate in what he had said, and refused a refund. Why didn't the parrot talk? Quote
