(yes it's dutch)

three pets of the same owner, how bad could you be??? :grrr:

and the names: nate_loves_..._...

those will make sure nobody is going to adopt them, i feel sorry for the neopets :sad02:

edit: i've just adopted a skeith, he is speckled and his name is pegasus9275, he really looked sad, so i keep him, and if i EVER get the lab map i just zap him 'till he's not a skeith anymore, and then i put him in some agency so he can get a good home. 'till them, i'm just going to feed him :laughingsmiley:

That's cruel on so many different levels. I've pounded pets in the past but never again. I love my cuties very, very much. The fact that it's the SAME exact person just irks me.

That sucks :( I hate it when you see loads of pets in the pound with names like 'AVATAR0R583093093' or whatever. It's mean that people make pets just to pound them immediately afterward.

Congrats on your new speckled edition to the family ^_^

That's pretty mean, but there could have been a reason as to why they did it. Maybe they were quitting Neopets for good and wanted someone else to have their pets?

I've only pounded 2 pets in the past, and one of them is now under the good care of another owner. The other one is still in the pound, unfortunately ... hmm, maybe a few more zaps under the lab ray to make it a PB colour might raise its chances of being adopted.

after that, i also saw 3 blue bruces...

their names:

my_first_bruce

my_second_bruce

my_third_bruce

edit:

that's too awful!

maybe, but why those names, and those bruces, those were just: let's make some bruces and then pound them, come on guys, why are you on neopets when you're only going to pound your pets?!

You forgot to mention wooden shoes :P I speak Finnish, I haven't praticed in a while so I'm brushing up on it. No offense about the wooden shoe thing. Stereotypes are one of my peeves.

I live in rural New Hampshire so we get asked about maple syrup, Autumn leaves, Carhartts, and lobster(even though Maine is a 3 hour drive from where I live) :sad01_anim:

that's...strange, tourists are strange (but if i'm ever going to america, i'll probably be as annoying as everybody else )

I hope that (it wasn't a lupe <_< ) the christmas... thing, will get a great new home, i've also found a camouflage acara, but after, about 10 seconds, it was gone, i hope he/she will get a great home too!

I wonder if TNT will ever make a system against people making pets JUST for avatars.

I feel bad just adopting a pet for that reason. I adopted some pet to feed it a food for the avatar and felt bad letting it go again :/ in the end I zapped it a little and then let it go.

The names bug me too. But I was looking at a petpage one day where the owner used her lab ray to zap and re-pound pets into more desireable colours/species. She then tracked them in the pound (i'm assuming by doing a name search and refreshing until someone adopted the pet) to see how long it took for people to adopt them. She found that Adoption was based largest on the colour, then species, then name. The poorly named ones were snatched up just as fast as the well-named ones, as long as they were a desirable colour. Especially for avatar pets. Even if no one wants to adopt the badly named ones as they are, it doesn't take more than a few zaps (ok, sometimes more than a few) to make them wanted again.

That's cool, but was she just basing on whether the pet had an owner or not? or if it was in a permie home.

because a lot of people pound surf on their sides, and collect pets for retrading :sad01_anim: (I've been guilty of it myself)
