help with slugawoo

No matter which slugawoo I try clicking on first, I continue to get the 'oh no!' dialogue box. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've tried clicking on all 8 of them first, but it doesn't seem to be working for me

Here's what I did: Use a pencil and paper to write down your correct order of the Slugawoos.

This worked for me so I can memorize my order easier. :)

I also wrote down the colour and sequence up until I would get the error message to restart .Eventually I got it .Jellyneo says there is a different sequence for each person but I found the guide to the location of the Slugawoos really good

Do you just have to click each once in the correct order (for a total of 8 clicks)? I have done this with no error message and nothing happens, and I cannot progress to the next step. Do you have to do it in a certain time? I click, my screen turns white for a second, then there's a yellow box around the slugawoo I clicked for a second or two, then it goes away. Do I have to click the next one while the yellow box is still there? *confused*

 

Edit: got it. haa. I was clicking the blue fish beside the slugawoo in the cave in the upper right by mistake *d'oh*
