Today I listened to Pink Floyd mostly, since I had a headache after class and I find most Pink Floyd quieting. My favorite artists fall into light rock/pop (John Mayer, OneRepublic), pop (Colbie Caillat, Lifehouse), folk (Brendan James, Sara Bareilles), and rock/alternative (Sick Puppies.) My favorite band is currently Cage the Elephant. Some other groups I really like are The Doors, Bullet for my Valentine, AC/DC, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Three Days Grace, and The Who. Oh, I also really like Taylor Swift. The past couple of years I started expanding what genres I listen to and found out I actually like some rap, hip hop, and country. rachiee Posted April 7, 2011 Share Posted April 7, 2011 I listen to a variety of genres, and I'll list them. xD -Oldies (including Motown, Disco, '80s pop) -Alternative Rock -Grunge -Shoegaze -Twee -Electroclash -Teen Pop (ex.: Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, etc. Yes, I'm ashamed. xD) -Electropop -Emo -Pop-punk -Top 40 (pop music) -Noise pop -Rap As far as artists go, my favorites would probably have to be Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Connie Francis, Taylor Swift, The Decemberists, The Supremes, Vivian Girls, 311, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Incubus, Ladyhawke, Florence + The Machine, Carpenters, Hall and Oates and Justin Bieber. My iPod has a ridiculous amount of varied artists, from My Chemical Romance, to Selena Gomez, to the Beatles, and pretty much anything in between.
