I completely understand it becoming a bit of an obsession, but save some of your favorite items/clothes and favorite pet for when you decide to come back! haedder Posted March 16, 2011 Author Posted March 16, 2011 I appreciate those advising me not to give away np but honestly if I leave my account as it is, I won’t take any kind of break, the next day I will just think about all the np making opportunities I’m missing and get back on. Neopets literally stopped being fun for me and just become a job; I had this mentality to just keep making more and more, ignoring real life in the process. I’ve decided to keep a few million and a pet for future boring work days or site plots (which I always enjoy) but I need to get rid of the rest or I won’t be playing for fun anymore. My favourite game list should be games I enjoy playing not a daily task to trudge through. I’ve never been a gallery person and got tired of collecting anything soon after I started so I’m really glad I can help out those who do love to collect. These neopoints belong to people who are going to make good use of them, rather than just sitting in my account. Anyways thanks for your concern, I’m actually really touched so many strangers are trying to stop me from making a mistake : ). I still have lots left if TDN wants to put more items up for trade!

It's not much different from how one can get hooked on an MMO and after a while it turns into work instead of being a game. And sometimes i feel that, too. I "have to" do this and that on Neopets. I've been taking some more breaks lately, though, so it won't become too much of a job, and more of a game again. ;) I also want to say, thank you very much for purchasing a Plushie Clam for 99,999 from my shop, too. :D
