ThisIsJ
Last August, I was going to purchase Gourmet Cooking For Your Pet so that I could get the Chef Bonju avatar. Then I realized that the prices on it were way up in August, so I decided I'd just wait to do it. Now, it's February, and I've been looking at investing into it now. My question is...it seems to be going for about 45k right now. Does anyone think it would get any cheaper? Or is now the time to buy it? Viridian
If you wait several more years they'll be cheaper, but I guess the patience for that is hard :P The cheapest way to get it is from the actual bookshop in neopia (it restocks there quite often, if you have the patience for that ;)) However, I think for this year 40-50k is a stable price... Unless you wait for August again, then it'll get a slight boost.
Mouseykins
Personally I would buy it now instead of waiting until close to August. Right now you'll be saving anywhere from 50k - 100k on the book or more depending on how much it inflates this year. I bought mine somewhat early but I still paid a fortune for it. Emily
I bought mine in late October after the prices had deflated from August. I paid about 35k for it
Alberto of Meridell
I paid about 800 NP for mine! Check the book store in Neopia Central - it restocks there. :D
August of Lake
*coughs* I paid 200np for it, it also restocks at Igloo Garage Sale. But yeah, if you want to get it from another user, now's a pretty good time.
hrtbrk
I'd get it now. Even if it does deflate, you're only going to lose a little controlled amount. If you wait and it inflates, you're going to over spend by what could be thousands.
