The Faeries' Ruin: Chapter 15

The 15th chapter of The Faeries' Ruin is here and Hanso is now on team Xandra! Does he have any tricks up his sleeve?

 

 

Steps:

Xandra is chasing Hanso and trying to blast him to smithereens! He can defend himself with the mysterious artefact, which can absorb Xandra's energy blasts... but more importantly, he has his rapier wit. Be careful not to let Hanso absorb too much energy, or to make Xandra too upset!

 

Click on the Xandra header (or the continue at the end of the comic) and you are taken to a page filled with insults. Our guide has more information on this step.

Fearless Deeds

Triumph - Solution: Use every insult at least once.

 

Over 9000 - Solution: Absorb over 100% in 3 insults or less.

 

Supercharger - Solution: Complete the task three times in a row.

I got the Triumph one. As I said, I think it's for being beaten by Xandra a certain amount of times.

I've managed to beat Xandra with insults twice now. I stopped keeping track because I'm lazy, but I think sticking to wisecracks, rather than direct insults (picking on her magic skills, etc) seems to get you further.

Just by randomly clicking around for a few minutes, I've got the 'over 9000' and 'triumph' deeds, I still have no idea what i'm doing though.

I still haven't got Over 9000. Maybe I should be more mean to her, I'm still having quite a bit of success keeping the insults small, maybe I should ramp it up and get a bit more personal...

 

That bar at the top is doing nothing at all for me :/

yeah what's with the energy overload bar? It never goes past 0% for me...

Supercharger is the only one I've been able to get... I think you get it if you keep on defending yourself from her attacks successfully...

My current best overall absorption is 91.68%. Not that there's any statistic for it, but I think my worst is about 30.
