Secre
I just passed my driving theory test! 44/50 in the multiple choice questions (43 is the pass mark) and 53/75 in the hazard perception (44 is the pass mark). I am thoroughly chuffed with myself and this is made better by the fact that my brother failed his and so I can point and laugh! Yes, mean I know, but I don't often get the chance! Wembly
Yay! Congratulations! *Does a happy dance* Gloating over a brother feels so good and yet is so wrong but I agree with you.
Divya Bean
OMG Congratulations! And yes, gloating is fine. Especially over siblings. ;)
Masaryk
Congratulations on passing your test! Does this mean you have your full licence now?
Secre
Thanks - I am still thorughly chuffed with myself. I don't have my full license yet - you have to pass the theory before you can even book the practical. But I am one step closer and it means that I didn't waste £32 booking a test which I failed! Now all I need to do is pass my practical...£62 to book and I've booked it for the 6th January 2011 which with any luck will give me enough time to get myself to standard....and means I may pass before my brother!!!! Particularly as he now has to find the money to take a second theory test...if there's one thing about having to pay for your own tests, it means you work far harder towards passing them! He is just coming to the conclusion that Dad will not pay for him to resit as it was laziness that caused him to fail. Yeah...still gloating as well!!! Wembly
Wow, that is making me really appreciate the fact that taking our driving tests is free.
livvy
*applauds* Yay you! I... still haven't taken mine. And I'm almost 18. :P I'm so slack about these things.
Spritzie
Congrats! My husband just passed his written test to get his permit. (He's 23, but by state law, you have to get your permit, before you can get your license, even if you're over the legal driving age.)
Rae
Congrats!! I got my driving permit, which I had to take a test to pass, 3 years ago when I turned 16 but I still haven't gotten my license because I'm afraid of cars. I'm not sure what a theory test is but that score sounds pretty impressive.
Kuroida
WHOA!! 125 QUESTIONS!??! 32 POUNDS?!?! I did my G1 during the summer (in Canada it's like the written part so I think it's similar to your test). Anyways. We only had to do 40 questions TOTAL as in 20 rules and 20 signs. We could only get 4 wrong in each section but it was a piece of cake :P Oh and I had to pay $145 for my test o.
Secre
It's 50 questions in the first part which are random and based on signs and rules of the road fitting into the categories of signs, motorway rules, vulnerable road users, attitude and several other categories. The hazard part is made up of 14 clips of driving (as in you in the drivers seat) each one including at least one hazard, one including two. You have to click for the hazard and gain from 5 points to 0 points depending on your reactions. But yeah...I still can't believe it!!! Now all I need to do is pass the practical!
