Welcome to the year 2025. We have robots. We have HAMS. And we have robots that go berserk...

Wait, robots that go berserk? This can't be good.

Calling all HAMS agents to the scene of a mad robot, spewing out mini-robots. This can't be good.....

Well anyway, we need you're help, young, or old, HAMS member. Even non-HAMS members might be able to help our gone-berserk robot, if they try really hard.

 

Welcome to the first ever HAMS RP. This is basically like any other RP, except on a HAMS theme. Here, you may have up to 2 RPees(the characters). One is yourself, a good guy, and the other's a bad-robot. Together we may save HAMS, and the world as we know it.

 

In order to participate, you must follow the rules. No god-modding, or controlling other people's characters. No time travel or teleportation, though you may use other high-tech stuff, because we're in the future.

The robots are using a warehouse/factory as their base. It's on the outskirts of HAMS city. On the other side of it is a large lake.

HAMS city is very large, supporting over 2 million neopians. At it's center is Fort HAMS. A well defended military base for HAMS members that also acts as a city hall.

(I'ma begin a bit)

 

Unit 13 crouched behind a bush, lazer rifle in hand. 15 droids under the commander of a model 1.5, who was currently moving forward, were all in similar positions nearby. His thermal scanner was currently in use as well as his camoflauge device, which changed the color of his plating. The model 1.5 stopped, and gave a quick signal that only the droids understood. In a flash two HAMS sentries were shot down and the droids moved forawrd in position. They stormed the nearest building, an abandoned house, and waited for ther next command.

Their leader looked out the window then crouched down and gave the order for all the other units to hide. A few moments later a group of 6 neopets in basic HAMS combat armour, all armed with short swords,hyper-sonic guns(they fire a frequency that can only do harm to droids. It short-circuits them and depending on the model causes them to explode or just shut down), and makeshift grenades came into veiw on unit 13's thermal sensor. He could barely see them through the window because the head of another droid suddenly blocked his veiw. A few seconds later the droids head exploded and shots were being traded back and forth.

 

 

Vickels was excited when he first heard that he was picked for the assault team going to find whatever caused the disruption in sector 81. Now him and the 4 others who were still alive were pinned down in the outer area of HAMS city and he was more scared than he'd ever been before. The neopet next to him, a shoyru, threw a grenade, then looked to see if he made it inside the window of the abandoned house they were taking fire from. 2 seconds later found him shot twice by the lazers the droids were firing.

He threw a grenade of his own but didn't dare look. An explosion was heard and the thud of what he assumed was a droid or the door of the house hitting the ground. A strange buzzing noise was heard from the house which he assumed was their form of communication.

Nearby the captain of the mission was rapidly speaking into a microphone on his shoulder.

"Under fire. Send reinforcments immediatley. Not sure how long we'll make it. Send a sqaud to assist us directly and two more to begin fire on the other two sides of the house." He clipped off the device and sent a volley of shots at the house. An explosion was heard as he dived back below cover a fraction of a second before multiple lazers flew over their heads.

Vickels crawled over to the edge and peeked over their cover a bit. He barely had to time to duck before a lazer was shot straight at him.

JB was inside the HAMS fort, playing cards with the others, waiting for an 'emergency', which would likely be a Harris stuck up a tree or something.

"Got any eights?" he asked.

"N-"

WHEEEEWHOOOWHEEEWOOO. The alarm sounded. It was time to get up, even though only one needed too, and go rescue a Harris. Just then, he heard on his walkie talkie.

"Backup needed! Backup neede-" and then he heard an explosion

"This is big" he thought, grabbing his laser gun, and his grenades. He still didn't know what was going on, but it was better than sitting around playing 'Go-Fish'

 

frank4t was outside, fighting off the HAMS members,. when he saw about 20 more come out. He thought that they would all perish in about 20 seconds, but they were putting up a good fight, and with the reinforcements, it would take even longer.

"Oh well" he thought "What's an hour to a robot with an infinite life?", as he shot a laser.

Along the outer areas of HAMS city, more that one battle was being waged. Droids were stroming in and sentries were hitting the floor. Back at headqaurters the alert board was lighting up and 21 other battles were being watched from a sky veiw. An invasion was beginning, which was step 1 of the plan.

 

Unit 13 moved towards the fallen door and peered out. He saw a Neopets head appear around a tree and killed it with one shot then ducked back behind the door frame as 5 hyper-sonic shots missed him. On his radar he sensed the reinforcements coming.

 

Vickels saw it before anyone else did. A transport vehicle gaurded by two tank droids. One tank droid was hit by a grenade and it's head exploded. It hit the ground and only a few of its guns remained working while it couldn't move. The other got close to their position and fired a major blast straight at their captain. One scream later they had no leader.

"You!" Vickels yelled, pointing at a Rainbow draik. "Hand me any grenades you have left" The Draik did so and in a moment he had 5 grenades strapped together. He threw the thing straight at the transport and landed intop of the armored vehicle.

BOOM.

The top exploded and fell in and the sides collapsed inwards, weakened by the blow and without the top for support. The droids and ammo inside were destroyed but the tank droid remained.

 

Droids felt no emotion, but watching the transport explode was the closest to fear Unit 13 would ever come. They were now stranded. That transport was the only thing keeping them alive. Just then, the 1.5 model stuck his head above the window and was shot twice. They were stranded and without a leader.

Unit 13 sent a volley of shots out and was rewarded with a scream, then made a run out the door. Two other droids saw him followed. One was shot immediatley and exploded, the other was unharmed, and Unit 13 suffered a blow to the chest from a lazer pistol one of the enemie's reinforcements was carrying. Him and the other droid barely made it behind cover and slowly began to sneak away, leaving the one-sided battle behind them.

 

Vickels watched and immediatley broke cover as a Neopet found his way inside the house and let loose grenades and shots in all directions before being shot 14 times. It was too late for the droids though. If the nside attack from the now dead Neopet didn't work, the hundreds of shots from HAMS members that came while they were distracted definatley did.

He gathered what was left of the missions troops plus a few neopets from the other teams, including JB.

"There are attacks going on all over the city. Let's group and go assist in sector 65. Leave the rest to deal with the tank droid" Without waiting to see who was coming he began walking off towards sector 65, also known as HAMS street.

JB didn't want to go to HAMS Street. He wanted to stay and that those droids that attacked his best friends. Saying "Good Bye" to his best friend, Leo, he dashed to 65th Street, to fight the invading robots. it was more important to prevent more robots from getting in then from fighting all the droids, on a never-ending battle. He rushed past a turned over cart, and he saw movement coming from under it. He was about to shoot when he saw his brother, frank4t. He didn't want to shoot, but others were stirring, and he was forced, with the greatest regret, shot his brother and the others, but he put his gun on 'Stun', and ran to the rest of his group, who were already fighting.

 

frank4t almost thought he felt love, when he saw his brother. He also thought he saw a sad face from his brother, when JB was forced to shoot him. He almost cried out "I'll help you, JB", but he remembered he was fighting his brother. He almost wanted to go to the good side, but he knew he'd never make it there, with the dozen droids right beside him. He saw all the other droids, and Neopets, falling, maybe to their doom, as he was immobilized by his brother's gun. He almost sniffled.

OOC/ Wait, JB, i'm confused, where are you going? o_O

 

BIC/ The fighting was terrible on HAMS street. Most of the civilians were evactuated but a few hadn't made it and it wasn't good for morale to see them.

Buildings up and down the street were on fire or had huge holes blown in them and carts, cars, and other things were overturned and used as cover for either side. Vickles and the 7 with him stopped in an alley as Vickels peered around the corner. The droids were too busy with a rapidly moving tank to pay them any attention. Suddenly a rocket shot out from behind a telephone pole a quarter mile down the street and within a second the tank was in peices. A red hissi slithered out of the remains, with multiple injuries, and barely made it into the alley.

Vickels and a shoyru named Cartelian broke cover as 15 shots were fired off towards the droid's front line from the alley. The shoyru dodged a lazer and dove behind the tank, an unharmed Vickels right behind him.

The shoyru chucked a grenade as Vickels looked around their cover. He couldn't see them so he checked his radar.

71 basic unit droids showed on his radar, 3 1.5s, plus a cammando droid showed on the radar, but they had cloaked their positions. He turned on the microphone he had tooken from his late commander and spoke to the Draik in the alley that had a similar one.

"Get 5 grenades and string them together then send them and 2 more soldiers over here. Put two troops in the alley across the street and get ready to fire." A few seconds later everything was ready.

Shots had stopped temporarily but the whole street was exploding with sound and bullets again as soon as the grenade cluster went off, taking with it a good fraction of the enemies forces. Cartelian jumped up to shoot but was shot straight in the chest and died immediatley. Vickels immediatley sent off 3 shots and took the risk of watching as 2 droids exploded.

The battle was turning in their favor. That was when the unti transport bursted into veiw and it's turrets started shooting any Neopet that dared move out of cover.

 

Unit 13 had a new gun, and new armor. His programming had been changed to make him the leader of this mission and have intelligence few other droids could understand. He sat in the transport with the sqaud under his control and waited. Suddenly the door burst open and him, along with 14 other droids burst out into the street and ran straight at enemy lines, sending shots the entire time.

[CAV of Gang Green]

CAV was watching as the mountains pass by below him. He is aware of the task ahead, and he feels sick to his stomache due to nerves.

 

CAV: "Is there a bucket nearby?"

Pilot: "Just open the door. Be sure not to fall out." *laugh*

 

He opens the door and hangs his head outside. The feeling has subsided. He closes the door once again, only for the sensation to return. He is barely able to open the door again before he vomits. After 8 minutes, he feels better, and turns around to see his troops staring at him.

 

CAV: "What?"

Soldier 1: "Dude. You just blew chunks down there. What if someone was hiking?"

CAV: "What if? Then they just got their lunch."

 

The rest of the soldiers chuckle as CAV sits down to give orders.

 

CAV: "Ok, we've heard about this war, and it's been going on for almost 13 years now. It's time we put an end to it. Those droids are out there killing civilians. We are going to flank them from the right, and go for the kill. I garrentee that not all of you will return home, but regardless, you will have done HAMS City proud."

 

The helicopter lands, and the army rushes out, unknown of what's to come. A soldier walks up to CAV.

 

Soldier 2: "Sir, what do you think will happen?"

CAV: "It's going to be a bloodbath. They are confident, but we just won't win."

All the commanders of the droids suddenly received a menacing message in their inbox.

"Hostiles landed. Return and destroy. Approaching and attempting to flank."

They passed the first barrier and after losing 2 of their own, killed 6 Neopets. Vickels and JB were the only one that managed to escape back into a different position. Bullets and grenades rained on the Droids as they haulted and took cover.

A strange rumbling sound began and suddenly a tank burst through a wall. A HAMS logo was painted on it.

Without a chance of moving forward Unit 13 gave the order to retreat and the 1.5 units told their troops the same. They fell back and grabbing barriers along the way, set up a position a qaurter of the way down the street.

Unit 13 checked his status bar.

Of all the battles that had been taking place, only two remained. The one they were at and the battle taking place on HAMS street on the other side of the city.

13 wins for the droids, 9 for the HAMS members. A group of 20 that had taken control of the Southeast plaza were coming to assist and cover their flank.

 

Vickels, vision was going dark as he stumbled through the hail of lazers. He was struck twice in the back, one deflected by his armor, as he fainted behind the cover of a blown down wall that used to belong to a zombie flotsam he knew. The sound of battle faded as he sunk into the blackness.

CAV and the troops run onto the city plaza, but the droids knew they were coming. They set traps all over the plaza.

 

CAV: "Stay away from the red lines! They are sniper sights!"

 

But it was too late. Shots rang throughtout the plaza, and 6 men fell to the ground.

You and CAV. You dang 14 year olds are making me feel young. xD

 

 

Unit 13 ducked as a shot passed right where his head was a second ago. He gave the orders to set the mines and told the rest to provide cover fire while they were worked.

Done.

Next the autoturrets wen't up.

Done.

Finally, Unit 13 grabbed the detonator from the van and gave the order for all droids to camofaluge and begin moving backwards. He pressed a switch on his arm and the six autoturets began firing.

The elite unit droid in this mission gave the signal for all opther droids on the street to follow and begin the retreat.

5 minutes later they were gone, all except for 2 unlucky droids that were shot while leaving.

Unit 13 looked at his status bar. A fight was reopening in the city plaza. He had orders to bring reinforcements so, signaling his remaining 11 units, they marched to their next destination.

[Big Brother]

watched from a deep hedge. He saw two droids looking for some enemies. He boomeranged his sword so it hit them both, taking them out instantly. First, he checked if there were any more, then ran out to the next covered spot. He poked his head out the corner, luckily, nothing was there. Suddenly, a droid appeared, but it didn't seem to detect him. shot one his arrows right where his likely weak spot was. He got it down, then he slowly walked out and picked out his arrow. Then, he ran into the next corner, looked through a window. Nothing was there, so he looked in the other one. One droid was there too. It was close to the door too. slowly creaked the door open, threw his sword at the droid, ran in, and got it back.

(Let's try to get everybody to Central Plaza)

 

Breif moments flashed in front of Vickels eyes before he faded back into the blackness. They was fire, shouting, and 2 Neopets standing over him. Next he awoke to find himself on the ground behind a sqaud of 10. Obviously an assault team. They said something about a medical transport and central plaza. He faded out again.

BOOM

Vickels was shocked back into reality. All the Neopets but one were gone and they were in a dark alley with a lazer turret and force feild gaurding the entrance. He peered out and saw an enormous battle taking place. Hundreds from both sides were trading shots over a large battlefeild. Helicopters sending out a rain of bullets were flying above and small transport ships were flying back and forth throughout the feild, not all making it out in one peice. Tanks, turrets, and high-tech cannons were lined up, some on fire, and many barricades were up. Houses and buildings were in ruins all around the place as the vicous battle took place.

The other Neopet noticed him moving.

"Try to stay still, we used makeshift stitches to put together some wounds but you've taken alot of damage. We're waiting for an oppurtunity to get you a medica-aaahggg" A shot from the other side of the alley found his head and he fell. Vickels didn't dare move and tried to look as dead as possible. He dared to open one eye and saw 2 droids standing at the other end of the alley, facing away.

He took a deep breath then in one swift movement grabbed the hyper-sonic gun the late Neopet next to him had and sent of a rain of shots. Both droids were hit and disabled. Vickel's wounds pained him but he still grunted and stood up.

 

Unit 13 stood on the rooftop of a ruined hotel, two snipers under his command with him. He messaged his troops on the grounds and they all popped up at once, sent out about a hundred shots, and went down again. This all took place in a matter of seconds.

5 Neopets were killed from this hail and 2 more were shot by the snipers when a group stood to fire back.

took a look round the next corner, there was two more droids standing there. He dared to put his his bow out and shot one. It must've been a good shot as he saw a memory chip fly across the room. The other droid walked slowly up to the corner, just as pulled out his sword and stabbed the droi in the chest. Then he pulled it back out and done it again, just to make sure, and the droid fell to the ground. got up and ran to the end of that room, opening the door and turning the corner again. He saw Vickels down an ally, how he knew him, he knew nearly everyone in the HAMS army. "Are you ok?" Anak said mysteriously, since he had only poked his head out from the wall.

Vcikels eyes darted around until he saw the head. A second later the gun was pointed at Anak. "Who are y- Anak!" He dropped the gun and limped over. "This guys dead" he said gesturing to the fallen Neopet in the alley with him "And I checked my radar. There are 10 droids waiting on the other end of this alley. We're pinned between them and that" he said then pointed past the force feild where the enormous battle was taking place.

He checked his own supplies then grabbed some off the late Neopet. "Do you have any grenades?" he asked Anak.

JB was running through the city, ducking and jumping frequently, when he saw 2 droids approaching him to his left. He shot them both in two easy shots, but he turned around to late! He saw three jets of blue light heading straight towards his waist. He jumped, but it wasn't fast enough. The two lower zoomed right under his feet, but the third hit him at his ankle. He fell instantly, with a great surge of pain. He called to the others who were fighting, attempting to revive him.

"It's okay, I'm alright, keep fighting!" But he was really alright at all. He rolled, painfully, to a nearby upturned trashcan, and pulled it over. Than he sat in the darkness, wondering what to do.

CAV ducked behind a stone, and watched as his men were slowly picked off by the droids. He was unsure what to do.

 

CAV: "Take the left side! See if the droids are watching."

 

But they were. 8 Neopets and 7 humans are brutally killed. He's running out of ideas, but the last thing he wants to do is retreat. It would make his master ashamed. Then he looks behind and sees a large array of tanks and soldiers. A HAMS insignia was printed on the tanks.

 

They came.
