cute_kitty
It may be a bit soon to be posting a rant about my personal life....buuut....oh well. I am frustrated and need to get it out somehow. This morning was fairly lazy, we took our time getting up and such. (I homeschool my son.) At a little after noon I decided to run to the store for some last minute pinic stuff and then take the kids for a quick trip to our local park...Got the kids dressed....Got everything ready....Locked the door and walked to the car only to find both of my front tires were completely and one hundred percent flat. So I go ahead and let the kids play in the yard while I dig our emergency tire pump out of our trunk and began airing up our tires....two hours later we are hot and grumpy, my daughter is ready for a nap. I went ahead and drove to a tire shop to have our tires looked at and new ones put on. After taking the tires off and inspecting them, Harvey (tire guy) comes over and says that there are razors inside my tires and that more then likely it was not an accident...my first thought was, "Duh, how could that be an accident?" Then it hit me that someone purposely flattened my tires! o_O Wow. The only person I know that would do that is my ex. Yes he is a nut....but my tires? I don't know. Either way I am out a small fortune and the kiddos didn't not get the outing they wanted. :crying: What a fun day... :sad02: Ok, I feel much better now. Thanks for letting me vent! Viridian
That's sad! It might also have just been some random vandalism from youngsters, you never know. If something like this happens again you should contact the police about it.
Meagan
Wow.... This is very weird.... Yesterday morning, I was at my NOW ex's place, I woke up to find both of MY front tires flat! We got into an argument the night before and he did that before he went to bed. The good thing was, he just let all the air out, and didn't actually puncture the tires. Small world, huh? :)

Unstream
That's funny, because recently I just broke up with my girlfriend and slashed her tires because she was being a jerk. Just kidding, I wouldn't do something like that :shiftyeyes_anim: But seriously, nothing I said in the first line was factual at all. I'm really sorry that your day turned out liked. Definitely helps our reputation (as in guys) when people like those act all spiteful and everything. </sarcasm> Anyway, I hope that something like that doesn't happen again. Darn psycho exes. How do we know you're not lying? :S No, I've never heard of that before! I guess Canada, or Nova Scotia, is tire-slashing free
Sakurabelle
That's awful! I wouldn't wait for something else to happen. I would go ahead and talk to the police about it now. That way if something else ~does~ happen, which hopefully it doesn't, they will already have your first report and may be more willing to do something. Who knows? Maybe it was random vandals that got a couple cars. If the police get several reports of slashed tires, I'm sure they would look into it. Secre
I agree with Sakurabelle - you should go to the police now and if anything else happens they'll take it more seriously...
The SWO Wannabe
Yikes, razors in the tires? Definately someone trying to get retribution. My wife and I have a neighbor who hates our dog so they are lying to our homeowner's assocation about all sorts of stuff to try and make them get rid of the dog or have her put down. She's the sweetest, nicest dog I've ever owned and how anyone could hate her is beyond me. She's very crazy smart and has a mind of her own sometimes and does naughty things, but what dog doesn't? (Things like opening the trash can and eating trash, etc., not like biting people or setting off nuclear explosions). Sorry to hear about your tires, though. Someone broke my window to steal $8 from my car only two weeks after I bought the car. I would have given them $100 not to break my window. Rae
Wow that is insane. I'm sorry you had to deal with that :( I don't handle stress so well... lol.
Kuroida
No, I've never heard of that before! I guess Canada, or Nova Scotia, is tire-slashing free yeeeah *props* XD Honestly though, how do you even slash a tire? The rubber + steel wire re-enforcement = HUGE blade o.0 Or are Canadian tires more durable too? :P Either way, any sort of tire slashing is terrible and I'm sorry you had to deal with that :(
