Drivers are idiots

What is it that makes people in cars think that they are the God of the road? Or is it just something about the big red L sign on the back of the car that makes them act like absolute twassocks?

There are some very simple rules on the freaking road. Like if I can't see you in my mirror then you are far too freaking close. And you don't know how close I was to pulling an emergency stop as there is no way in hell that the idiot could have stopped. When I'm going dead on 40mph in a 40mph limit then there is no reason to be up my freaking [removed]. And if I pull an emergency stop it will be their fault for being so freaking close.

Second rule. Don't overtake when there is something coming. Ok, I might have taken the roundabout badly, but there was a dual carriageway 100 freaking metres up the road. Overtake there. Not when I have to hit the brakes and you have to hit the accelerator to avoid the oncoming car. All that says is that you are an inconsiderate freaking imbecile. When the guy behind me hits his horn at you then you seriously know you have messed up.

Thirdly. When I stall the car ONCE at a roundabout entrance is there any point in getting out your car and yelling at me? No. Again it just shows you're a freaking [removed].

The L on the car means that I am freaking learning and that I'm doing my freaking best. Not that I'm going to be perfect. But Jesus weeping Christ I wish people would stop acting like such freaking [removed] as soon as they see that L plate. Tooting your horn or yelling through my window will not help me when I'm trying not to stall the freaker again. If anything it will have the opposite reaction.

Why the freak can't people be a little more considerate of the fact that someone is learning? And next time I will hit the freaking brakes. You will hit me. And it will be your freaking insurance that pays out.

*Note: All original swear words have been replaced by less offensive words so if a sentence doesn't make sense due to the word 'freaker' or something similar please excuse me. Also if I have missed anything that is offensive please message me as I do not want to offend anyone.

**Note: Ever since my last post I've been a little more cautious of cultural differences. Just in case: L plates are for provisional drivers who can only drive with someone who has been driving for more than three years in the passenger seat. Or an instructor. And if you don't understand the British sense of humour then roundabouts will soon show it to you - try driving round Milton Keynes!

How long have you been driving? Cause I know that people definitely like going at least 5-10 mph over the speed limit.

I'm learning too, but luckily I've never really had to stop or hold anybody up. I go a bit slow sometimes, and some people have tailgated me, but just ignore them, and as you get more comfortable on the road, you'll probably start going a bit faster too and the problem will go away.

Of course, there's always that person that tailgates no matter what, like today I was already going 50 on a 35 mph road and the car behind me was still following uncomfortably close. Good thing it turned away after a few intersections though.
