hawtie Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 I have been looking at the top pets in Neopia... which include featheralley's and some of the other ones. They all have 5000+ movement points (higher than str/defense) is there a higher-level battledome item (similar to the heavy robe of thievery) that requires such high movement points? Or is this just a result from the cool neggs/multi stat boosters?
Viridian Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 Actually as far as I've heard, movement points are not that special at all. I would not know why people would train their pets so high.
Secre Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 I think people only train them so that they have equal points or near to it. I haven't found it to have any use in the battledome.
Tyler. Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 heavy robe of thievery is a 100% stealer, but only works if you have at least 200 movement
dasbif Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 i suspect it's along the lines of "look what i can do!" rather than for having any real use. just like overfeeders in the kadaotery, who feed past the 75 needed for the avatar.
sjoudrey Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 I'm waiting for the day when movement actually means something. It would be cool if you could attack multiple turns before the other person can even move once if you have a much higher movement than them.
Luciana Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 ^ Same here. I train movement the same as all the other points with hope it'll actually be useful some day.
Secre Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 ^ Same here. I train movement the same as all the other points with hope it'll actually be useful some day. I'm far too lazy! I just train whats important here and now...and I tend to get bored with that! Which is probably why my pet is so stupidly weak. jagocianka 1
dasbif Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Consider training like a daily, and you'll get there eventually. then if you happen to be online later in the day, train a second time. that's what i do.
