Help! Is this a psisher?

So I'm playing my favorite games and a pop up window comes up and asks for my username and password.

"Server images50.neopets.com of LDAP: images50.neopets.com demands username and password."

 

I click Cancel and it goes away, but it keeps coming back. I haven't put my username or password in it.

Has anyone had this before?

What is it?

How do I get rid of it?

No thats just the secret server that Neopets load things to they don't want users to find yet :P Thats what it sounds like anyway... you sometimes see it in the Mall when they release items but forget to move them to the public server xD

Are you sure that it's requesting your neo password or is it for a proxy (such as a Uni one) as these seem to play up from time to time, in FF anyway at least.

This has been happening to me when I've been playing games too, I haven't put anything in the box for username or password either. It seems to happen when my games are loading. Maybe they are working on the games?

It's just happened to me as well. My immediate thought was that it was probably phishing so cancelled it. Still not sure if it isn't, so I think I'm gonna keep ignoring.

whatever you do, dont i repeat DONT give them your username and password! they say they will specifically NEVER ask for your password. and they said that if anyone asks you for your neopets account and claims they are from TNT, they are lying. they specifically say this in the rules or somewhere. i forget, but im warning you to not do it. its for your own good!

Id say just dont do it to be safe.

If it is a "secret server" and you do enter your info and access it, you could be frozen for attempting to cheat.

It's never happened to me before. But to be on the safe side, just ignore it.
