Battledome Pets

Recommended Posts

If I wanted to get a decent Battledome pet, is it better to invest the money training your own or trying to trade for one that has been trained up?

Is the lab ray sufficient enough training (I know there is no guarantee for the lab ray stats to be even). What does everyone else think?

Is there someone out there that lends battledome pets?

It is cheaper to train yourself than to trade, since the decently trained BD pets can trade very highly - for Draiks, Krawks, UCs, etc. It takes a long time though and its still several million NP for Dubloons and Codestones.

Lab training is haphazard at best really. That takes a while too, years even for your HP and Strength to get up to beating the harder challengers. In that respect normal training is actually faster... at least in my experience. It was far, far quicker for me to train Zadue evenly than it was to get Bruno's lab stats.

It takes time but I'd suggest normal training - although I can't really talk as I keep getting bored with training and kind of wandering off to do something else so years on I STILL don't have strong neopets!

I would do a mixture of lab training and normal training. This turns out cheaper in the long run than not using the lab, as on average all stats besides defense go up using the lab ray. You can then use normal training to keep your stats even, especially defense (which WILL go down using the lab).

Good idea, I'm kind of annoyed though I have a baby and an alien I can train, but not willing to zap them incase they change colour :( I think good ol' fashioned training will be the go. Has noone head of lending BD pets to get avatars?
