Cancelled due to lack of interest

What is it with the third being cancelled due to lack of interest? I don't get it.

I don't know. Maybe it's some sort of joke, just like the Artist's Day off thing.

Years ago, TNT updated the servers to work for other time zones, so they "lost" a day. That day happened to be March 3rd. So, March 3rd is canceled due to lack of interest. It's really nothing more than a running gag.

 

It's also because of this that we get tomorrow's news the day before.

That's quite amusing. I'd always wondered why it was cancelled but it only came into the forefront of my mind because of todays trivia question.
