Izzy ♥ Posted August 3, 2008 Share Posted August 3, 2008 Actually, it only needed one - the other is just to balance the pattern (Sudokus always have to have the pattern in which numbers are showing). Unfortunately, it makes the puzzle extremely easy, because everyone can just run off and put it into an online solver :( Which, coincidentally, is how everyone that PM'd me their alternative patterns had solved it...
