I've always been interested in the Poetry Trophy but I never thought about actually entering until a couple weeks ago ... I mean , I used to write lyrics for real bands ... why not make it Neopets-themed ?

I just submitted another one , considering it's almost 4 AM and I've been hallucinating with my books all day , it should make it :P

A space station briefly glows

As a full moon is reflected

Upon an under-water city

A pirate ship gently sails across

What a serene view you must say

We sure don't see this every day

It's just the calm before the storm

This is the Championship round

Every Pirate,Grundo,Fish and Robot

Getting Ready to battle it out

And soon one of these lands

Will have the cup in their hands

A magical marvel from days of old

It glistens and sparkles with pure gold

The eyes shine with a strange glare

No one can withstand that powerful stare

They say if you make a wish at midnight

It'll be granted with the first ray of light

But not every one have that sort of luck

Deceive it and you'll be struck

I figured every one will be writing about Coltzan's ghost or shrine , so I went in a different direction

I picked Ghost ... it just looks right to me ...

Followed the path with the brighter stars and got 10k

it doesn't always work that way .. yesterday I won 1,000 NP without the biggest flowers .. and today I followed the flowers and lost ... I still think it's random

nah .. I'm not the saving type ... whenever I have some money I blow it on my gallery or get some more wearables for my pets .. (currently eying the full Maraquan Warrior set for Peopha) ... the max. I saved for was 1.75 Mil for a Royal PB ... but considering I want to paint 2 or 3 more of my pets Royal .. I MUST start saving ... but I don't see it happening anytime soon , esp. with that Wheel in Qasala not giving me the avatar yet :grrr:

well .. the autumn guitar WAS made wearable and that caused its price to skyrocket from about 800 NP to 150K !!!

while my gallery would be worth much more (just theoretically since I'm never selling any of it) ... any new item to be added will be a huge dent in my wallet .. just like the Musical wearables (dresses and shoes etc) ... it's bad enough the new instruments are all in the R95+ area ... so ... I hope this won't be anytime soon :)

Lots of people post on the neoboards that there's a "special way" to guarantee a win at the Wishing Well ... someone claimed they won 10 items in the past 2 weeks ... and when they were asked how, they said "you have to know how to win" ....

so ... my question is how do I win at the Well ?? is there a certain amount to donate or what ?? I've never ever won anything and I feel :angry:
