Sentinelzm, what are the uses for black sand?

my son has a gorgeous snake. We need small vermin to FEED to it... Some of our mice got loose once, plus they stink so we don't keep them anymore. Our cats (currently numbering TEN, I know, one for each kid...) have to stay outside because I developed an allergy to them 5-6 years ago. Bummer, because I liked petting them in my lap, but I don't mind that the furniture doesn't have claw marks anymore. And one just LOVED to sharpen her claws on the family photo album! I guess she smelled our combined smells the most there... sigh...

I am listening to religious Hebrew music on youtube. Not too many people listening to that on neoptes lol.

usually I listen to pop and/or country on live365. Not into hard rock at all. (shuddering) but my boys play it a lot when they are home. We compromise with Nickleback, maroon 5 etc, which isnt exactly HARD hard rock, but i get tired of the anger and violence in music. i Like fluff.

I don't know. I don't mind kids. Once they are around 16 and upwards.

So you have a kid? My older kids are fantastic, but my younger ones are great too. I like them when they can hold there own, I have a degree in Education for Juvenile Delinquents. Worked in Rehab ("Juvie Jail") it was great to be with the kids. The staff was 8- P~~~

I have two foster boys (2 of the 10) who were basically given up for adoption after years of neglect. Mom missed out on some good hearted kids.

Not everything can be changed by stating that you are in the USA. Sometimes they read the IP address, which always indicates where in the world you are located.

It's worth a try. if I had stated that I was a boy then i would have gotten the Queen avvie that I wanted, not the King. Misread the directions... :sad01_anim:

I looked at different places/forums and everyone is like "so my handwriting is so bad" and my fifth grade science teacher hates me. That's a little out of my range of experiences as a mom with a married kid, a grandchild on the way, 2 kids in college...

I thought about surrogate momhood, but after having a "few" pregnancies and falling in love with them before they were even born (like I am falling in love with my future grandchild) it didn't seem like that would happen to me.

My brother-in-law & his wife have no kids. I thought if any of my pregnancies turned out TRIPLETS, maybe I could give him one, but that didn't happen. I couldn't give him one of my twins. Thought about it for almost a nano-second. :whistle:

I didn't try it, but if French is the main thing, I am sure many more neopians would have it, because France & a lot of Canada would be using French. But the cooking-pot is a good idea.

I wish there was a way to search for an avatar! Maybe someone else DOES have an explanation.

Before I realized that neocash items can't be transferred, I bought something for my side account. I think it's GREAT that gift boxes will be available. I hope it will be what we want to put in it, not staff decided! Also, a lot of my kids have neopets accounts, I wouldn't mind sending them stuff sometimes. None of them are as neo-crazy as I am though... ;-)

On a philosophical level, I think Neopets started out a really cool site that everyone had the same advantages and once portal and NC mall started, some of the people who couldn't pay for things in RL were at a disadvantage, especially kids. There ise even an avatar you can only get by referring people (to purchase a subscription).

But I personally enjoy buying things. :oneeyed02:

I haven't quite figured out navigating on the forums, how to see what replies my post got etc, and especially, how to put an avatar up by my nmae (and a counter in my signature. If I start LOOKING, I get lost. sigh...

I love the counter. I just recently started collecting game avatars, too, so this is a perfect release time, if i do say so myself happy.gif

Hi Rob! I just joined the forum board too, though I have a TDN avatar account for a while. Didn't understand they are different.

I spend most of my free time playing games on neopets that I DO NOT get avatars in, so I can save points, so I can do Edna quests and buy stocks and save for the Adam avatar, PHEW, I am exhausted! I don't chat much, but I am trying... :-)

I am saving for the adam avvie, then I want to get a mootix to attach to my uni_avienda's petpet. To dream the impossible dream...

On a side note:

I was looking at today's posts, someone posted a link to a fake neopets website that supposedly gives bank points. Beware! It looks like a scam.

I'm Judy, usually judykm and my neopets username is shirahli. I have been a neopian for almost 6 years, an avid avvie collector only about a year. so I am years behind! :*

I opened a tdn account a while back, but apparently just an avatar one, so I got mixed up when registering for the forum account and I think I have used both names.

Thanks tdn staff for having this lending program. I think it's great. Anything in this fast-paced cyber world that has some old values (honesty, trust...you know, things we can't take for granted anymore) are "uber"-wonderful these days.
