  1. My eldest son, Diego, is 7 and is in grade 2 but he thinks he's already an adult! :rolleyes_anim: He considers the smaller ones as "kids"! The second is my only daughter, Ella. She's really sweet but is very good at manipulating adults (especially her dad!). The third is 2-yr old Miguel, who everyone calls a male version of Ella. Looks and manipulates just like her (but it's me who's the weakling this time!). The youngest is Luis, only 6 weeks old. He was born very premature so he's still very fragile-looking. He's my only chance to have an obedient child (hahahaha!).

    First born kids... ;-)

That's a riot that Ella and Miguel have their parents wrapped around their fingers. If they join forces, you guys are going to be in SUCH trouble... lol

Luis, obedient? Good luck. I haven't had any. :) As soon as he gets past the fragile stage, I am sure he will pick up trade secrets from his siblings. Isn't it fun? I LOVE having a big family!

When my oldest was in middle school, a kid in her class said "with so many siblings, your parents sure must like to have s*x a lot", so she looks at him and says "do you REALLY think your parents have only done it THREE times???" :*

  2. You have awoken the great Turmaculus...

and he has decided to give you 100 neopoints!!!

Wake up everybody! You've got another 40 minutes (until 2am today, early morning Monday December 16th).

If the petpet has anything to do with it, mine is an altachuck.

    method: I dumped water.

try again in another 17 hours.

  3. I'd love to have a city apartment where I could hang out with some of my kids some weekends, stay over with my husband or just crash occasionally, but there is NO WAY I would live in a box with people on either side of my living space, even if they DID holler gesundheit when I sneezed. shudder.

Apartments were okay when I was single, but I still always had roomies so I don't know that "alone in my space" feeling. I think I would get lonely.

I like the family feeling that Jun mentioned. Knowing everyone in my street/community. My daughter was married 7 months ago in our neighbour's backyard!

  4. Me too Elaine! My guild is a lovely one, but we are down to about 4 active members, all moms. one single dad who gets on occasionally, though it's posted as an adult guild, not a moms guild. I like it, but I also like the chit-chat here. a bit less restrictive, as long as you get used to not double posting/bumping or overly short posts. Those had me a bit concerned, too easy to mess up! gulp!

TJ, I sort of missed your post I think (or have you changed your name?)... I lived in Pittsburgh for a year, that makes us practically neighbours! ;)

so, anyone else want to brag about their kids? :-D

I have 8 biological kids, ages 22-(almost, as he keeps telling me) 9. My oldest is my daughter,in New Jersey working and the next daughter is married. 18 year old twin boys who will be going to the army (gulp gulp!!) in the near future, my foster boy is 16, my next boy is 15, then two girls 13.5 & 12, the next foster boy (brothers) is 11 and my little guy. Phew! That was exhuasting. I have to go lie down now and rest. hahaha

  5. Seems to be another advent calendar glitch today. It's early, just after midnight Dec 14th, but I tried to collect, it gave me the movie, then said I had collected already. Nothing in the inventory so I will clear the cache and hope later today the glitch is fixed.

Good luck all today on your neopets gains and what-nots!

    ~Judy

  6. SympliGoth, your secret is safe with us. Or... um... with me, since I seem to be the only one here lol. Thanks for stopping by. I love your look!

I am the "know-it-all" when it comes to computer/internet. When my middle kids were in middle school and learning basic html, I showed them how to do some fun things. All their friends were rolling their eyes at their own parents' ineptitude and my kids were rushing to me to help! hahaha

  7. I've tried jokes that have won for other people, I have tried random, I've tried nonsense, I've tried EVERYTHING.

    Here goes more nothing:

    Grumpy old King

What didn't you go a pack of Spooky find a knack ?

    A: An can't by a 101 !

Well looky there... You got a chuckle out of him.

    King Skarl Says:

*heh* That was a pretty good joke. I give it a 650 out of 1000.

Here, have a little something from my kitchen. I hope you like it.

    King Skarl hands you:

    Raw Potato

    *********

    *********

    *********

    Wise Old King

King Hagan listens contently to your words of wisdom...

"Never trust a N-4 Information Retrieval Bot," you state knowingly.

He ponders all that you have said.

Well, it could have been worse.

    King Hagan Says:

I'm not dense, youngin'. I already knew that!

  8. Hi Missa!

    Hi Mrs. Claus!

I think it's super you have accounts that will be fantastic by the time your little ones are old enough to play! I wish I had played years ago, gotten those unavailable avatars from back then. I only started seriously collecting avatars last year.

All my kids (except for the oldest) have had accounts, though 2 of them were closed out for some reason, not frozen, but the passwords don't work and the emails they send them to are inactive so can't be retrieved.

We all chipped in a while ago to make points for my youngest daughter, so she could buy a baby PB, and she has since stopped playing!

I want to get my youngest son something that will look like a dragon. I saw one once but I forgot what it is! Something darigan or draik. Then I will have SOMEONE to talk about neopets with. When I talk to my middle kids, I see their eyes sort of glass over. :laughingsmiley:

  9. Q: What do you do if fierce Peophins has eaten too much tin of olives?

    A: don't the Usuki 00 Hog blossoms!

Well looky there... You got a chuckle out of him.

    King Skarl Says:

*heh* That was a pretty good joke. I give it a 603 out of 1000.

Here, have a little something from my kitchen. I hope you like it.

    King Skarl hands you:

    Chunky Meaty Stew

    This makes NO sense whatsoever!

  10. Thanks, but a tid bit of luck is needed too :laughingsmiley:

Unfortunately, TNT takes so many time to review my score that I was bumped out of the "trophy places" at the time they did it. :crying:

That is SO annoying! my son placed first in the dubloon game, and wrote them for 2 weeks. BY that point, he was way down in third. They should have a system that records what your score was as opposed to the scores at THAT TIME.

The only award I came close to earning on my own (other than solitaire & pyramid) was feed florg, but I was 5 points away. :-((

  11. Nope they showed that you received a Rod of Supernova (A powerful BD weapon) but below it said ".. and as you to go pick it up, the Pant Devil snatches it and flies away. Boo hiss."

I don't think I have ever gave away a baby paintbrush in the advent calender.

Paul, YOU gave away? Is that a typo or are you real-live TNT staff? That's like Leonardo DiCaprio or something! ;-)

The gave away snow chia pop or whatever it was that gave the pea chia super powers. THAT would be cool if they did that this year!

    Happing collecting everyone.

  12. Rosy, Chronic Fatigue sounds quite awful. I know 2 (adults) who have had this and managed to get back to funcioning level. Ask for help looking into homeopathic medicine. There is a way to relieve some of the symptoms.

Syn-Chan, that is terrible, horrible, awful to hear. I have 2 kids (foster boys) that come from awful homes and my heart breaks for you.

To think I came to the forums today because I was feeling a bit down... wow...

  13. My guild has occasional friends-only auctions, that I think are legal. Maybe you can put up on the guild a graphic or something to win, then just send the winner a PB. I like the trophy in look up idea. You'd also have to work out the graphics though.
