I don't understand the TDN daily dare set up: what's the THIRD prize, the one with a score just above abigail? Sometimes I'd like to get that prize instead, but I've only gotten abigail's or AAA's so far.

I will be training myself to not go outside for a smoke at breaks, although it is cold out, I like the fresh air.

 

The upside is that because I work in a call center, my breaks rarely fall in the same time slot as my smoking co-worker's breaks. :)

I quit smoking 6 years ago.

at first I smoked less, but that doesn't work for everyone; most people need the 'cold turkey' method. I replaced my "addiction" with exercise. Instead of a cigarette break, I took a fast walk around the block.

The biggest change was I became an avid "anti smoker". The smell would make me want a cigarette, so I would tell people not to smoke near me, and I would leave areas where there was smoking going on. I had to pretty much avoid the places I smoked before, and those people.

This isn't a very busy board... I've seen lots of moms at neopets, even belong to 2 adult guilds. There are some moms floating around tdn too, they just don't post HERE much :crying_blow: just kidding.

you can ask her what sort of things she likes to do, maybe find out if you both like the same things (like neopets!), and then if she seems curious or interested, tell her about the things you like to do.

Youth group is already a common thing you both do. Is she in your town? In your school? ask her things about herself.

Don't worry about scaring her, if you are being yourself and she isn't interested, then she wasn't who you thought she was anyway. My son told me that about a girl he thought he liked, who turned out not to be worthwhile to him to get to know.

I have done that a few times now, and I checked: all the pets were adopted.

The only down side to it is that the neat clothes they get from the zap will NOT transfer with them, like the Island or Lost Desert stuff, so the pet isn't quite as nice as with the clothes.

Someone I know just got frozen, with no warning.

I am pretty sure she wasn't scamming or hacking or anything underhanded. She & I are wondering what TNT might have found so offensive as to immediately freeze her account.

I turned 2 pets and gave them up for adoption, one into a jelly grundo, the other into a chia Island (the clothes refuesd to go with :grrr: , can't even send them, they won't come out of the closet. NO PUN INTENDED).

So I adopted a lupe, who today changed gender. I hope she goes werewolf! The petpet with it was a tencals, and zapped today to a Spotted Puppyblew!

It's VERY hard for me, thanks for that heartfelt comment. Luckily, she will be visiting in 2 months. She totally missed her sister's pregnancy, but God Willing there will be more.
