Holy crud, who are you again...?
Haha, no. I'm just messing around with you. :)
Welcome back to the forums!
I was starting to wonder what was happening to some of the regular posters here. :O
(Also, I wish I had known that the Pelican story was false. Does anybody know how to retrieve all the copies of the National Inquirer that are being mass distributed?)
-
Haha, thanks a bunch.
Turns out that a "Willie Willie" is a nickname for a Dust Devil.
-
I have summer homework and I am just about done the packet I was given. However, I am stuck on the last question:
"Research the meaning of "Willie-Willie" in Australia".
I've searched the internet, but can't find anything on the topic. All I know is that is involves hurricanes.
So if there are any Australians out there who knows this subject, or anyone in general, please help.
Thank you in advance,
Meeptroid. The clueless Staffer.

If I'm not mistaken, Twin Skies will probably become a popular MMO rather quickly.
I still hardly know much about the game and I'm already hyped up. =D
Although if there is a subscription involved, I hope there are cards you can buy at the store.
Also, I'm already spotting popular culture references in your game, Adam. xD

Puns are great. I'm TJ's Official Unofficial Caption Contest Captioner.
And as it turns out, captioner appears to be a real word. :O
Update: Firefox may have betrayed me into thinking that captioner is a real word. :(
-
If this isn't evidence that you are trying to plot something, then I don't know what is.
Thank you to all of the users who made this possible. Every time Ian becomes happy, a litter of bunnies are born.
(Which possibly explains the abundant population.)

Boy, Ian. Have you noticed all these announcements you've been making?
This comes to show you that TDN is pure pwnage when it comes to Neonews.
A half-million avatars, imagine that. :O
-
Er, yes....
In either case, Ian wants users to experience the best out of TDN Forums. Updating stars are no exception to the matter. Heh, maybe there can be Fantastic Staff Members. :O Nah.
-
Ian is quite the brave one indeed.
He risked his life for you Fantastic Members to enjoy a brand spankin' new star. =D
Also, I admit that the story is slightly exaggerated. But I think Ian agrees with me when I say that the story is epic and for the most part accurate.
-
Well, on the staff's part, there is an About Us page on the bottom of the main site that lists the staffers and their department. The idea is interesting though. Its kind of Ian's call though, so we'll just have to see what he thinks.
-
Wow, you guys sure are going nuts over a star upgrade.
Although I see why there is a reason to celebrate.
Unknown to most users, Ian went on a two year journey into space. He was determined to find what legends have talked about for centuries: The Perfectly Fantastic Star. This legendary star was known for its immense beauty and powerful wisdom that it contained. Below is the story of this amazing and epic journey:
It was a long and dreadfully boring afternoon. Ian was browsing the internet for nothing in particular. Looking for something to accomplish, he opened up TDN Forums and searched for something he could improve. It was then that Ian came across the Fantastic Member Star. The dull and small star disgusted Ian greatly. So much in fact, that he decided to look for a legendary star that he only heard about in stories.
Ian quickly typed in Google, "awesome stars". Unfortunately, this search brought him to a web page all about popular celebrities. He quickly got distracted and wasted 20 minutes reading some poorly written article about some popular person he didn't give a crap about. Satisfied that he got his daily intake of literature, Ian suddenly remembered what his initial task was and retyped his search in Google. This time he wrote, "perfectly awesome star" and came up with the web page he wanted. The web page was all about a legendary star found in outer space that made even the coolest forum cooler.
Intrigued, Ian gathered his life savings and called Rent-A-Rocket. As it turns out, the name was misleading and he ended up calling a company where you are allowed to rent a Nerf Rocket toy. Ian decided that the only way he was going to get a rocket is by building one himself.
Going down to the local store, Ian bought the supplies needed for Rocket Engineering. He sure was lucky that it was "Buy 5,325 and Get One Free Day". Anyway, Ian proceeded back to his home and built the rocket in a matter of minutes. Pleased, he went inside of his house to enjoy a well deserved umbrella drink before blasting off into space.
After Ian was finished with his liquid refreshment, he put on his Space Adventurer Suit and climbed inside the rocket. The space was cramped but it got the job done. A countdown from 1,000,000 to 0 milliseconds began as Ian braced himself for the launch. Before he knew it, he was ascending into the vast regions of space.
The journey was long and hard, many friendships and betrayals had occurred, and Ian was soon tired of it all. As a last strained effort, Ian managed to find the galaxy where The Perfectly Fantastic Star was held. The rest of it was history.
Update: And before anyone asks, ignore the inconsistency. Ian's somewhat evil twin managed to run the website while he was gone.

TDN provides the best Neopets coverage there is!
What is better than an exclusive interview from Adam himself?

My brother has a Jetsam that he managed to swipe in the Pound.
Of course, the name is literally a bunch of jibberish. But at least it isn't "miley_cyrus_omg1643chick".
Just a bunch of scrambled letters.
In either case, here is the pet: Jetsam
Respond if interested. My brother told me he really isn't interested in the Jetsam and he is willing to trade.

Yes, he reached All-Star.
Don't know how anyone manages to sit down while staring at a screen for most of the day playing the same game. I am wanting to reach All-Star also, but I keep getting distracted easily.
-
Just like Zac stated, make sure everything is there. And make sure to check your e-mail thoroughly too in case you find anything in there. Even the spam folder.
Years ago, it only took a day or so for me.
-
I woke up at... 11:30 am or something.
In either case, I agree with TJ.
TDN provides the best Neopet coverage a fansite has to offer. Always on the prowl, our staff is sure to find out the latest in Neopia. (And soon after that, write fascinating articles about it.)
Besides, the layout for the Altador Cup Coverage is hawt.

That's so awesome, Xepha!
You deserve it. :)
I'm capable of easily entering a Random Contest. It's just the fact that sometimes I can't come up with a good idea or I just procrastinate. I need to wait for the perfect theme to roll by.
-
I'm not as motivated as I used to be when AC III first started. I also need to update my counter.
I can't sit still for hours on end playing a flash game over and over and over again. Plus, it lags a bit sometimes. D=

Happy Birthday Brittney!
You're sixteen and whatnot, so be sure to make it sweet.
If you hit anything else during your experience as a driver, can I keep the roadkill? A Metroid has got to eat too, you know.
(Also, I'll discuss the present business over MSN. I DO want to see that video though. XD)
-
That would be pretty much correct.
The calculator is basically a rough estimate on how many wins until the next level. I don't think anyone really has an exact idea on the actual scoring system at the moment.
-
You should be fine. A random event is, well, random. You really didn't have much control over the situation.
Just transfer the item over to your main account if you are thinking of selling it, since making Neopoints on a side is a no-no.
-
I just saved it to my computer and opened it up there for fastness-ess.
Also, that was pure WIN. Levy is superb at animating. I only have MS Paint, so my animations looks silly. :O
I have a few animation from MS PAint on my Youtube account if anyone is interested though.
-
I fully agree on the part of no switching teams. I dislike those who just latch on to a winning team and don't even help. :O
-
Actually yes. I do believe that the A.I. of the opposing team is advancing each day.
(I apologize for the vocabulary. xP I'm just being silly)
It's really a shame, however. That means Krawk Island, Darigan Citadel, etc. are gonna be tough for my team since I haven't faced them yet. And Meridell is being a pain already today. :(
What are you gonna do with your prizes this year?

Probably throw them in my SDB for months on end until they worth something remotely useful.
