Got them! Yay! And only 20 health points to spare :D
-
Yeah. There's things on the boards about him being the Foreman/Chef/Janator (the Foreman and Chef were from the LDP) cousin. I think he got a paint job so he might avoid the whole mess or at least not be noticed as the same guy. xD
lol
These books are ANNOYING - I can see them, but whichever way I go I hit a dead end. I'm running out of health points!
-
Thank god. XD I managed to find the books with just a few moves left so... @-@ But it's nice for a shorter step after the maze from heck >_>
I liked the maze - true it took ages, and the vine bit was annoying when the monster took my vines, but still. It was fun!
EDIT: Does the Caretaker remind anyone else of the Janitor in the Hall of Heros?

omg I want this avatar!! I better start collecting!
Good luck - according to AvatarLog one of the stamps is worth over 20 million! :graduated:
I'll do my best, But I'm NOT going to spend more than 500k on this one, and when I complete my stamp collection I'm going to sell it all.Can you resell stamp? I thought once you put them in your album, it was permanent.
-
Darn, another avatar that I won't get...stamps are so expensive.
Me neither! At least some of the stamps are coming down, what with Tarla giving them out and everything.
-
This was one of the best parts of the comic. I just hope that what Ilere said was incorrect "For my Sake Sophie, I hope you Fail."
Me too!! I want to know what's so bad about the Spirit of Slumber, and the only way we're going to find that out is to actually meet him... Do you think that might be the next bit? Or maybe that's the bit TNT are saving for Halloween?

I am so confused!!!! So I have 5 types of vines with 6 each and It says what are you going to do with that small amount of vines?????? And do I lay them out or keep them in my inventory?????? I'm soooo confused. Right when I start moving I stop! UGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
For them to register they have to be in your inventory but see above post for a way to discover the vines you have to use.

you're not so alone. i've been working on this for almost two days now and i've tried everything but i'm still stuck on the stupid rope. :grrr:
Have a look at the Pt 3 topic on TDN I posted a guide to the rope there. Its how I did it.
-
I can't find all of the vines.
I'm missing one of the Rotting Vines. I've clicked around the paths for hours, but I can't find it.
I put it down somwhere to mark a path, and now I can't find it.
Have you mapped your paths? If not, try it. You should have about 20 screens - it'll help you find out which screen you haven't visited.
-
For those of you having trouble with the vines here is how I did it. I had a LOT of trouble with it too, and this is a fairly easy way to do it.
1. First lay your vines out in five piles of the different types.
2. Pick up all six of the first type and click the clearing. If it shows the rope being lowered keep those ones. If it doesn't put all those ones down and try the next set of six until you find the six that does give you the lowering screen.
3. Next pick up ONE of the other vines. Click the clearing and if it gives the lowering screen, keep that vine. If it doesn't put that vine down again, and try another type of vine til you pick up one that gives you the screen.
4. Now pick up another ONE of the vines that gave the lowering screen. Does the lowering screen appear again? Yes? Keep that vine, and try another one of that type til you don't get that screen. Put down the last one that you picked up.
5. Move on til you find another vine-type that gives you the lowering screen, and do as in 4. until the screen stops coming.
6. Keep going with steps 3 - 5 until you've finished. As long as you add only one at a time after the initial six the monster shouldn't take your rope either so you won't have to find all the vines again.
You should have done the vines bit now! Congrats! Any problems just ask, I'll see what advice I can give.
-
I've done it now too! Yay! I had to send a score of over 800 to get the juice though.
-
I FINALLY did the vines! I kept making it too long - what a nightmare! Would you recommend mapping the Deep Woods bit? Or is it small like the swamp bit?
EDIT: Um, what's the score you have to send to get the meepit juice? I sent one of 614 and I didn't get it...
-
For anyone still on the vines - the "correct" length is 19 vines. Any more than that (of the right combination) and the monster will take it, this happened to me because I thought maybe everyone's length was different but apparently not.
-
Still down, this is realy starting to get annoying. I understand their situation but you would expect for them to have it fixed by now.
It IS the weekend. You've got to expect them to have some time off. Hopefully it'll be back up on Monday morning.
-
Will they bother coming in on a Sunday to fix the plot? I wouldn't think so.
Sunday? Won't it be Saturday in the States? I'm not sure time zones give me a headache, but I thought that the US was a day behind me here in NZ and it'll be sunday here which would make it saturday there. Uh, too confusing. :sad01_anim:
-
Oh well I guess the plot's not going to come back up tonight :crying: Talk to everyone tomorrow, here's hoping the glitches have all been worked through by then :D
-
Nope, its down again now - this is getting to be really annoying... Maybe I should just leave it for a while... Don't want to end up throwing my computer out the window or anything, that would be... bad, lets leave it at bad.
-
It was starting to get really slow again. At least I got to the meepit scaring section.
Meepit scaring? Is that after the vines? How did you do that bit, I just can't figure it out! :sad02:
-
anyone know what the deal is with the Vines and how many you need? or where your sapose to take them?
I know where you are meant to take them - you'll get to a bit with two paths and a sort of gap in the trees that you can click but when I do it just says I need stronger vines. So far I have six of each of the five colours of vines.
Oh, my stick didn't appear in that inventory. Hopefully it will reappear.Thats odd mine was there right away...
I think the plot server might be down again. I keep getting a server error like this:
500 Server Error
The following error occurred:
The server closed the connection while reading the response. Contact your system administrator.
Could not open error file
It'll be a pain if it is.
-
Poke them? How do I do that?
Open your inventory bit by clicking on the grey arrow. Then click on the stick and you will pick it up. Now just click again over the Hissi with the stick in your "hand". A message should come up saying you poked the Hissi.
Anyone who is onto the vines bit - what does it mean by STRONGER vines? I'm pretty sure I've collected every vine (well maybe not coz I obviously dont have the "stronger" vine), so any hints on what I need to find now?
-
Ugg. I'm stuck in this stupid maze, and there are two Hissi, but I can't do anything with them. I have a pointy stick and 7 Ghost Meepits in my quest items, but I don't know where the meepits came from.
I was stuck in that bit too, just poke the Hissi with the stick, then you'll be told which way to go. In a round about sort of way. :D
-
Has anyone else seen the 2-headed Hissi in the maze yet? If yes, what did you do? They just say the same thing every time I try to pick a path... It getting really annoying! :grrr:
-
A while, I bet. With everyone checking back all the time they aren't going to get a good break to try and get it right.
For the time being though - who far did everyone get? I didn't even get to see the comic so I'd like to know some of what is coming. What is the spinning stick?
I shall be random too, my account is on server 225.
-
It's similar enough. And harder. More complex. x_x
Great, just great :( Guess I'd better get started working it out then.

I put Milk choc with nuts, but my absolute favourite chocolate is Caramello. HOW COME THERE IS NO CARAMEL OPTION?!?
And what, exactly, are reeses (sp?) - I've never heard of them. Maybe you can't get them here...
