I do have a little gnawing worry that the Sun, as the obvious underdog even when details were first released, might draw more super-players. You can never discredit the underdog.. should be interesting!

 

 

It's a list of games that might be used in the contest - there have been challenges in the past to send a score for each game on the qualifying list, or a large portion of them. Today, for example, we are asked to favourite at least five games from the qualifying list (and 20 more if you want to earn bonus points for your team). When you send a score for a game on the list, it should say "completed" in green on the qualifying list.

 

Basically, there'll be a new challenge using at least one of these qualifying games every day :) Try to aim to complete on the day, to get the most points!

so basically, i should set aside 100k or so and just keep going until i get it? is that the best thing to do?

I am such a bad sleeper. I think I fall asleep on my stomach most of the time, and I have a really bad habit of putting my arms under the pillow which I guess props my head up but eventually hurts my jaw!

 

I also have a habit of putting them under myself - I once even woke up with a dead arm..

 

I also have a talent for taking up the whole bed - I love having my face at the top edge of the pillow and bed (getting all the cool air) and then my legs will be at the opposite bottom corner... wrapped around all the blankets.

 

This has made me want to go back to bed..!

Teeny bit gutted I missed out on the petpet but.. I guess it's fair enough considering I missed actually catching it!

I've been moving house and don't have internet so I didn't get to capture the monster.. wahhhhh!

I've been in and out of Neopets for years - I often take breaks or have times when neopets doesn't even enter my mind but it's nice to check in and pick up where I left off after a hiatus.

 

I guess if you've mulled over this for a long period of time then you aren't doing it rashly - at least you'd be coming back to the <i>biggest collection of rockfish in neopia</i>.. That will be pretty funny :)

 

I guess at the end of the day it is just stuff - and it is a very generous gesture.

Oh my god - this is insane!

 

I'm so super busy and I can't keep at this any more. Every time I get a barrel roll I want to shake my laptop!

 

On the positive side, I have also noticed that the amount of floors I get with curses lasting less than a minute has increased... Meaning (I guess) that it's easier to burn through more floors as the plot has progressed (if you really want to do that to yourself!!). I missed yesterday but I've been able to do like 24 floors today so far (I think?) and I am only after getting my first 2 hour curse.. so I can probably do another two floors today, and I have a curse of cleansing. I'm currently stuck at 108.

 

On a more negative note, I am so burnt out! I also have quit opening all the doors, even though I agree with other posters that there maybe more reward for checking all the doors.. which I was doing up until today. Today.. I just.. can't .. with it.

I'll probably wait until fairly last minute to decide!

 

I am biased towards sway but it makes sense to go where the most people appear to be going! :)

I'm stockpiling the sporkle syrup, essence of esophagor and the books.

 

I've kept one of everything else but that's it really.

 

If I got multiple stamps I would keep them too, but so far I only got one.

Ahhh I think I used my curse of cleansing too early. I used it on a 8 hour curse and then got immediately hit with a 15 hour curse in the next room. Maybe I should have waited the 8 hours and then used it on a 15 hour curse.. curses!

 

I guess I'll just bumble my way through the rest of 71 now.. and hope to get another curse of cleansing but this is probably it for me today!

Yay! I finally got all the prizes! Got the stamp, a moink and a beekadoodle today. Those were the last ones I needed!

 

Barrel Roll is driving me crazy today.. I can't handle it! Arghhhh!

 

Also - has anyone else noticed they can scroll down way past the catacomb "box" on the page? I have a lot of grey underneath it sometimes. I look at it now and it's fixed.. I don't even know what causes that! Could be chrome.

50 with an hour wait means you'll probably have caught up to us by the time we get a go at it again :P

I don't know why this catacomb thing is so addictive. I think I will probably actually miss it when it ends!!

 

I'm currently waiting out a six-hour Fatigue curse at level 47.

 

I wish there was a way to deliberately get myself the Cleansing curse. In all levels so far, I have only received it three times.

 

 

I also wish they would add something to make it not so repetitive. Like, after every 10 levels all the scenarios change, or even the physical look of the catacombs is different. But it's just the same thing apart from the addition of those riddle doors later on. I wonder what it is building up to.

 

At this point, I just try to get through the levels as quickly as possible and exit the floor as soon as I find the staircase, without exploring anything else. :mellow:

I always open all the doors in the hopes of getting the curse of cleansing but I'm pretty sure I've only had it 4 times myself. I've played around with deliberately giving myself curses to try get cleansing but it hasn't really worked out that well for me. It gives me less prizes but at this stage.. I guess the prizes aren't worth much unless it's three sporkle syrups .. Maybe deliberately getting curses is the way to go?

I don't understand this - how do you mean boost their scores?

 

Why would they want to pile into sun if everyone is going moon?? Because the prizes will be rarer?

I am comforted to see others got confused with the cleansing curse too. I have wasted one curse finding out the hard way.. cleansing the curse of cleansing and not fatigue.. ahhhh!!!

 

I feel less bad about it now :P

 

Also I am torn between thinking it is infinite versus thinking the limit might be level 100 before halloween (and then kill the monster in battledome for halloween).

 

Maybe?
