In terms of actual user interface, I'm struggling a bit, and mostly rely on 2 different pet pages that I bookmarked to get from page to page. Some of the new art is really nice though for the pages that they have done for different neopian lands. I like the way they changed the healing springs where I can heal and see what is for sale on the same page, and the wheels they do have done are really nice. The neopian boards are hard on the eyes though and causing me to misread things, although I'm not sure why. The inventory refreshing every time I do something is starting to really get to me. I only use it if I have 1 thing to do, otherwise, the classic inventory link is still up so I can do multiple things without waiting for the refresh. The shop wizard is also getting to me since I never use the "contains my phrase" option and having to change that every time I try to search for something new is an extra 2 clicks for every refresh. Sometimes I forget to change that, and it gives me a search for something entirely different so I have to search again. Wish it wasn't the default.

Hey! Welcome! I just joined TDN recently too! Been doing a lot more of the social aspects of the game, probably due to quarantine madness.

The two pets I just adopted both chose Gruel Cake, which sounds pretty gross to me, haha

Hi, I was wondering if anybody knows if random event avatars are or would be still obtainable in the beta pages, now that the beta version is live. I noticed one of the games played a little different too in the beta version, so I'm not sure if the new version will be coded differently for the avatars too. Edit: Someone messaged me through neomail saying that it is possible! I also got the lever of doom avatar soon after, which is on one of the beta pages.

Oh yeah right after I wrote this, I went back onto Neopets and realized they forced the beta mode. It's a confusing time that I just got back into this

Hello! I'm new to TDN forums, but have been lurking through some the last couple days since I've gotten back into playing neopets. I've been playing on-and-off of neopets for about a decade now, normally coming back around to it during december, easter, and parts of the summer. Since starting back up a couple of days ago, I've been trying my hand at collecting more avatars (I'm at 209 now!). It seems a lot has changed/is changing and I'm hoping to get back in the groove of things for at least the next month (gotta get that Trudy's avi!). Looking forward to contributing to the forums!
