Growing up our cats (and even our one dog) were always allowed outside. Where I currently live it is super unsafe for them outside though. People fly down our street like its a highway, and there are a lot of foxes, coyotes etc. that are unfortunately being pushed out of their habitats by all the new homes going up and eating animals they wouldn't normally eat. Apparently there is a bit of a feral cat problem here too, but luckily there are a few shelters and non-profit groups that take care of them and feed them. 

Once all the snow melts, I'm going to build an outdoor pen for Edward and Ninja to cat in. Maybe I can rig something up in one of the windows with that chipped cat flap! It's not the same as pure freedom, but at least I know he will be safe. I had him microchipped anyway just in case! Do you guys microchip yours too?

@Dilley88 He has this fluffy green ball that he carries around in his mouth that is his absolute favourite but I'd say the mouse is definitely up there!!

I highly recommend the water fountain! we have one similar to the one you pictured but the water comes down a slide instead of free falling. I got it at wal-mart I think? maybe petsmart. might be less likely to make a mess with that

we used to have Edwards sister Winry too but when she started going in to heat she started getting aggressive toward Edward and my sisters older cat Ninja. We thought that maybe it would stop after getting her fixed but it didn't and then she started peeing on my oldest son and his bed. needless to say we ended up re-homing her with a family with a little girl and no other cats and she fit in perfectly! we miss her a lot (especially my son) but I think shes much happier now being the queen of the house.

Marley is sooooo cute and you can tell from the pictures that he has a lot of character haha!
I swear they know they are cute and think they can get away with it to some extent haha. I thought my guy drinking out of the tub and sink was funny, but drinking out of the toilet takes the cake. The only thing he didn't do, that I still am baffled about as my last cat was relentless about it, was mess with the Christmas tree! I'm going to try the wasabi paste on the cords too seems like a safer alternative to the bitter spray.

it's the weirdest feeling, feeling like a newb but also like I never left at the same time! xD

I can't even remember when I started my first Neopets account, but my current one I started over 13 years ago, after my first was born.

I played steady all through maternity leave (during nap time of course :p) and through my lunch breaks and slow times when I went back to work.

I can't remember why or when I stopped playing (memory seems to be a common theme with me haha) but every once in a while I would pop in and play a few games and do my dailies.

Here I am again, 13 years later after baby #2, for another round!

Happy to see that TDN is still going strong and wondered why I never used the forums during all these years so here I am!

any tips, tricks, new goings on, sweet new avvies to collect, or just chatting, I'm all ears... errr... eyes?!!
