I do not know where to put this, soooo sorry if this is the wrong place. Just wanted to share that I have a darigan pteri turning 644 days old on Saturday, February 25th at approximately 12:20 AM NST. ish. Time is hard!! Did it for the avatar, hopefully someone else can benefit, too. Posting because I'm definitely going to forget. brb while I put in calendar and alarms.

I am so confused right now.

 

I have all my neopoints, all my items, I have everything in my inventory, shop, SDB, and even my other petpets, but my ONE petpet is just gone. I zapped him early this morning with the petpet lab ray, haven't been back on since, but then I went to play Grave Danger again, and noticed he was missing from the options of petpets.

 

He was a pile of soot, originally I think he was a ghoti. I zap him with the lab ray for fun, he's a bit of throwaway pet because I'm trying to get Turmaculus to eat him. Turmaculus did not eat him yesterday and I do not have the avatar.

 

I'm so sure that I used him to try Turmaculus after zapping him, but maybe not. Can the lab ray get rid of pets? I am just... so... lost.

 

edit: So apparently the ray can make your pet disappear... guess I should have googled that first lol it's still weird because I'm so sure I used him for Turmy after zapping him! oh, well.

Since I am 47, I will lecture you young whipper-snappers: WEAR MOISTURIZER WITH AT LEAST A 25 SPF!!! Seriously, start today. You will be happy you did! My skin isn't perfect, but I don't look my age. I do look younger, but I suppose that may have to do with my biological family (I'm adopted, and don't know who they are), so thanks, bio family! I also have combo skin...with wrinkles I get pimples, WTH!! It's crazy!!!

 

Just wondering (if you know), does SPF make a big difference if the most sun I see is going back and forth from my car? Now I want to know if my moisturizer has spf in it at all... it doesn't say.

I finally got the Edna Cackle avatar!!! I wish I had recorded how much money I sunk into that... took me months.

This was a few days ago, but it was a HUGE achievement for me!! I finally won two games of Sakhamet Solitaire in a row to get the gold trophy! I've been working for that trophy (off and on) for over two years.

Ceasing to exist seems like a sad thing to have happen to us after we die. We live all our lives to do what's right and help people out and strive to make the world a better place and in the end. nothing? That's just not right and I don't believe we are in store for such a sad ending.

 

I just wanted to say on this that I don't think it's sad, it makes your life now more meaningful. I don't believe there's anything after, so you have to make the most of everything, and do as much as you can in the short time you get. You can still do that if you believe in an afterlife (duh), but something about having a finite amount of time to live every aspect of your life just makes it more pressing.

 

I would also like to believe in an afterlife, among other things, but it's just not feasible to me. I can't disprove it, but I definitely can't prove it either so I choose to believe it's not real. Plus, the idea of hell infuriates me. Deny me (despite giving you zero irrefutable proof I exist) and I'll torture you forever? Rude.

I just hit right above the center immediately after the game starts. No strategy, and my win rate is probably under 50% xD

Mine was instant when I signed up on May second. I've been seeing a bunch of people on the Help board posting about premium taking a while though. Maybe a premium hiccup?

I pay in four month increments. Can't afford to pay a whole year up front every time, and the $7.95 is just a crazy increase. It's only 40 cents more per month if you pay 4 months rather than 1 year. It jumps up a whole $1.75 per month from every 4 months to 1 month.

 

Like I said, I would be willing to pay for just the SSW. After I cancelled my premium the last time, I made a customized dailies page for myself, so I don't find as much use out of the dailies section on the premium bar anymore - which was my second most used feature. Also, I've only had 1 premium-specific random event so far! I've had increased REs throughout the site, but of the four, 3 took away neopoints  :sad02: cmon premium!!!!

I think it's interesting learning people's reasons for having Premium. I've never felt I could pay for something I can have for free. The perks just aren't worth it to me.

 

I remember probably 5 years ago my friend said to me (after I told her about Neopets and premium and all that) "I'm not willing to pay for pixels" bahahahaha

I use adblock when I don't have premium so I mean, it's only fair xD

I'm thinking about buying premium again. I think I last had it about a year ago, definitely at some point after Jumpstart bought Neopets. I'm just wondering if anyone has any opinions about it? Is Premium any less worth it now? Are there any known issues with it? If they mess up my billing somehow (which I'm extremely paranoid about) will they respond promptly?

I love this game. My thousands of hours logged on Bejeweled Blitz probably helps... Also, I disagree with the guide! This game loooooves to give me bad boards so I end up using Pyramibread tons. Otherwise I end up staring at the game for 2+ minutes, then I start to panic and it's basically all downhill from there. If you're to the point that you can't find any moves and don't have enough time to type that, it's basically game over anyway.

Took me about 3 hours (not consecutive) to get the score, and it was only 152, and that was the only time I came close! Can't seem to regularly break 115. This game is awful!!!! The only tip that worked the most for me was going up to the top left-ish and dropping off the last petpet there. I couldn't get the hang of using the spacebar to herd the petpets away from Balthazar. This is one avatar I will NEVER get, the game is just too stressful! I had to take breaks between levels to keep from losing it.

Oh no.... I sighed as soon as I saw this. I'm horrible at this game!!! Please don't let my AAA streak end today! :(

Is there a way to know which quests are 3 item quests before you accept it?

 

I've read about only doing quests with the word 'rainbow' in them, and that you might be more likely to get the avatar around Halloween... just wondering if there's any stock in that

My stuff came back after that night that the site went down for hours and hours. While it was missing, though, I tried to buy something from a shop and it said I couldn't because I already had 50 items in my inventory. That makes me feel better. At least everything is still there even if it's not showing up!

I tried every day for about two and a half weeks to get the avatar but it's so tedious and time consuming and drains my bank. Are they still giving it out? xD Anybody have any tips for getting it?
