I'm pretty sure we've all noticed the references to non-neopian characters (not including Dr. Sloth) with the customization outfits and pieces released. Some are obvious, like the many variations of the Sherlock Holmes costume and other well known characters. Some aren't as well known, either way it's fun to notice them and I hope you guys would have fun pointing out the ones you've noticed.
 
I'm just going to start with one of the possibly more obscure ones. Unless you know of Detective Conan or Magic Kaito, you probably won't recognize this character referenced with the Blumaroo Magician set. The character is Kaito KID, a magician thief who wears a white suit. I could be wrong, but it doesn't seem typical for magicians to wear white suits and a cape like this guy.

Wow some of these are pretty creepy. I once had an experience. After our cat of ten years died, I had a dream where she was talking to me about how she knew she was going to die, she told me to be strong and to not be too sad about her passing and that she cared a lot for us. And after I started to wake up and she was saying goodbye to me, I heard a voice whispering, "Thank you for taking care of me" and felt her paw touch my forehead.

Yeah, tk421beth and Scoobert_Doo are right. Wheel of slime was a Nickelodeon sponsored wheel on neopets that was free to spin, though tk421beth was wrong in that it was a wheel that you could spin once every 8 hours. After neopets announced that they were transferring from nick to jumpstart they took it down because they weren't part of nick anymore. I miss that game too, made a good amount of nps on it. :(

I have never had an experience with someone that rude before. They could have just declined, but blocking someone for not having enough? I always put exactly what I want for the item, but I'm always fair in that I'm willing to haggle if someone doesn't have exactly enough. I also try to keep the item as low or lower than the cheapest price on TP so more people might be able to get the item. I'm sorry to hear about your friend's experience with the Trading post, but I'm glad her hissi was healed, since I have a hissi as well.
