I can kind of relate, I joined Neopets when I was younger and I did not have access to guilds and the boards so I have never met any one, but it is getting better now, and I believe that you will be able to meet tons of people too! ♥ and some of them might stick with you till the end, good luck ;3

I play from my iPhone when my son naps [or is trying to]. TDN dailies come in very handy for this, because it's very limited as to what can be done from a mobile device. I like to visit the Igloo Garage Sale and attempt to restock. And yes, it's an EXCELLENT pregnant activity. It's what I've been doing for the past 15 weeks [and more]! :rambo:

As for anti-Semetic, I suppose it's all in how you look at it. To the Hindu faith, it's called sauvastika and, when left-facing, is a symbol for the goddess Kali. It's also found in Buddhism.

Sadly, the Nazis made it into a symbol of their evil. It was originally something very pacifistic.

I'm in the same boat. My so knows all too well that I play and plays a little bit to humor me. I started playing over a decade ago in high school and had a few friends that played as well. One of them continued into college then stopped, whereas I had my account hacked, stopped then picked back up when I found out I was pregnant as something to have fun with and to help de-stress. I don't have much time anymore as my little boy is a handful but when he's nursing or sleeping on my lap...

I'm kind of a hermit because I'm a stay at home mom, but people know I play. I shared a Facebook status saying "playing Neopets" and a few people liked it. :laughingsmiley:

It sort of appears as if the Crokabek is taunting the Gwalla for the amusement of the Chia. :sad01_anim: It's just not right....teehee. Diggin' the petpets...

I agree Angel. Even with inflation, my items only cost around 1k luckily even though I didn't get anything. My so had to dish out the same np and one of his pets dropped to level 0!!! Really? She's not a bd pet obviously but still, a little insulting. :( I probably won't take the chance with my bd pet. I haven't seen a species/color change yet, so I think my other pets are safe to try. I'd be irked if I lost my chocolate xweetok.

Over 75k spent today for one of those verbal random events! I was going to try three days and then give up, but forget it. If I try again tomorrow, I'll be broke.

I just...cant anymore...its INSANE! I payed 90K today because I got 30K items x3 :k so annoying...and what did I get? a -1 HP stat decrease again..AGAIN! ..ugh xD No more for me!

I had a feeling this would be a new daily. It's disappointing that this wasn't a full out plot like many of you had hoped...and while I was right that it wouldn't be Lutari Island related, I am also wondering if they will ever do anything about it. TNT says they haven't forgotten about it, but honestly it should have opened years ago. They might as well just get rid of it if they won't ever add it to Neopia.
 
Well brilliant. I try the daily and Landfish is unbuyable. Apparently TNT didn't fix all the overpriced junk.

I love pastel pets so much! It's such a soft lovely color.

Guess they're phasing out the Nickelodeon games and such. Hopefully it gets repaced with something decent.

Thank you everyone! I forget where I get my avatar from, but I love flowers and I love bright colors, so I thought it suited me. I've been lurking TDN for a while and I like it here so far!
Thank you for your compliment to Alu, Haliaetus. I originally got her from the pound, and gave her a home. I want to paint her water at some point. I think water Xweetoks are gorgeous. Hopefully one day I can paint Sandrea water, but for now, I like her striped. Casura looks great as she is, but I have a paint brush for her already that I just haven't used yet. She'll be a faerie ixi. I think those are lovely! I am debating on adding a baby Mynci to my family. I really like Myncis.
