I just finished reading Anthem by Ayn Rand. It's a super short dystopian novel, and it's great.

Love love love Anthem! Everyone talks about Atlas Shrugged, which is fine and all, but Anthem is my favorite Ayn Rand book so far by a long shot.

Right now I'm reading A Storm of Swords, the third book in the A Song of Ice and Fire series. Everyone's recommended Game of Thrones to me, but I wanted to read the books before watching the show. Hopefully it won't take me too long!

Thanks for the tips, guys! I've got about 500 items so far, it's pretty slow work. But hey, I'm approximately 1/10 of the way there!

I try to always have 15,000 to put into my stocks every day. I have several million in savings and no expensive items on my wishlist right now so I'm not looking to stash away a whole lot.

I gotta say, I'm a little jealous of all of you who are making thousands off of your habitariums. I couldn't keep up with mine, it was too much of a commitment. Pretty sure all my little critters are dead by now. Oops.

I joined the Thieves Guild because I need the avatar. Doesn't look good for me, though, almost no one else seems to have picked them!

I don't mind Pepsi if it's all a restaurant has, but I definitely prefer Coke. I rarely drink soda anymore (used to drink them every day), but when I do it's almost always a Coke and it's always delicious.

Post-Script: I also prefer Mexican Coke over regular, because it has sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup and it tastes better. Whenever I have that option, like at the local taqueria, it's usually what I go for. I hear they're also switching to corn syrup now, though, which makes me sad. Guess I'll have to switch to other brands that use sugar, like Maine Root.

Hi everyone! I've posted once or twice, but never got around to introducing myself. Figure I'll do that now.

I'm 22 and started playing Neopets when I was about 10. That account is no longer active, but my current one is 6 years old. I don't spend hours playing every day anymore, but I do check my stocks regularly (I'm going for the Sell! SELL!! avatar), do some dailies and play a game or two. I used to really hunt down avatars but I'm getting to where many of them are either difficult (for me) games or ones where I would need to borrow an item. Maybe I'll participate in the avatar lending program some day to get a few more, but for now I'm alright where I'm at.

I guess that's about it, if you want to know more just ask!

Not sure if this goes in Help or General, but here goes:

Any tips on getting the Rubbish avatar? Did you buy a bunch of 1np junk items for the purpose of discarding them, or do you just have a habit of discarding unwanted items? Personally, I never discarded anything before the avatar came out, preferring to donate things I couldn't sell for more than a np or two (hey, maybe someone else will want it!). I still donate low-value toys, books, and things that have a use but now I discard useless items such as buckets of sludge. At most I'm discarding one or two items on the average day, though, and I'll never get the avatar at that rate (the consensus is around 5000 items discarded, right?).

So, to those of you who have it or have a plan to get it, do you have any tips for me?

Working on the Sell! SELL!! avatar. I have just over 900,000 invested so far, so at my current 15,000/day it won't be too much longer.

Got a Coltzans Diadem today.

So far no luck finding out how much this thing might be worth. I found two on the trading post with no prices, none in the shop wiz or auctions. Google has not helped either, no one seems to know.
