Congrats michee! :D Yes, the items can get up into the hundreds of thousands. A lot of people get UBs. So you definitely got off lucky. My first FFQ was only 1k.
 
Also, yes, for some reason Chinese seems to stop the Crafting Faerie. :P Maybe you can't buy NC in China? Idk

One thing I strongly believe is that while I fight for equal rights, there are many gay marriage supporters who really need to dial back. Attacking someone for being Christian is just as wrong as them attacking homosexuals. While I don't agree with it, a Christian has the right to disagree with homosexuality. And you know what? That's okay. My problem starts with these people thinking it's okay to deny people rights just because they don't agree with the way they live their lives. If you don't like homosexuality, just don't vote on the issue. Homosexuality is never going away so why actively try to make life hard for those people?

Additionally, I went to a gay pride festival a few weeks ago and it was so much fun. I got a Human Rights Campaign bumper sticker for my car. ... Did I mention I work at Chick-fil-A? ;D

and...YOUR GOOD LUCK RUBBED OFF ON ME CAUSE I GOT A FFQ!!!!! *screaming* about 75k, but still cheap compared to the last one!

Today brought me another Air Faerie....I don't like where this is going. xD

I'm at 298. I'm awful at games too, it's mostly games and luck avvies (also the stamp pages and really old plots like the Free Juhdiah). So..um...a lot. XD
 
LITERALLY SCREAMING BECAUSE I GOT A FOUNTAIN FAERIE QUEST!!!!!!!! I can't believe it!! Only my third quest of my first cookie and I got a FFQ!!!! And it was an affordable item too! Only 5k! I can't believe this is happening! Wow!
 
Edit: Someone GIFTED me the item! Wow, I am astonished at this day.

Just FYI, after your pet passes a certain level (I think it's 20) the lab ray won't reset its level to 1 again. You might still not want to zap because of her species, but you should know in case you want to make a more informed decision.
 
If you're not planning to continue zapping, you might be better off with Greater Healing Scroll or Rejuvenating Jar of Brains instead of your Velms Healing Potion, since they'll give you a few more HP.
 
If you are planning to continue to be interested in battling and not planning to zap, I strongly recommend you find another way to train your pet. Training is one of the most economical ways to improve your battling - more than buying stronger weapons. A pet with a strength boost of 15 and a Scarab Ring can do more damage than a pet with a strength boost of 2 and a Super Attack Pea. Plus, if you increase your level to 200 to make your pet trainable, you can get the faerie ability Warlocks Rage, which works just like Lens Flare. Then you can have two free shots at any opponent.

To be honest, I don't think you really need to spend any money on the skirmishes because you can qualify for the avatars/site themes as long as you do 10 battles on any opponent.
 
BUT if you really want to upgrade some items, there are a few suggestions. I looked at your pet (_Azura_Homatu_, I'm assuming is your battle pet) and it seems like you have a lab rat with high HP, strength and low defense. So shields won't be of much use.
 
For constants at that budget, I suggest you either get Scroll of Knowledge (80-90k) which deals 11 icons, or Scroll of the Scholar (8-10k) which deals 10 icons.
I'd also suggest Downsize! (<10k) for defense. If you really want a shield, you can get a Leaf Shield (<40k), but you probably won't use it much.
You may choose to switch your freezer to the Randomly Firing Freeze Ray (~250k). 50% chance of freezing, but it won't ever break unlike the Scroll of Freezing.
I think the Velms Healing Potion will do fine for you at 446 HP. Unless you want to get the Rejuvenating Jar of Brains (275k), which heals 60 HP, or spend 150k on the Greater Healing Scroll, which heals 50 HP.
 
 
Also, get Level 25 Faerie ability An Icicle for an extra 6 icons per turn. You can also get Level 5 ability Shade for some extra defense.

I suggest you take a look at the Battlepedia's Basic Weapon Sets guide. All of those weapons are fairly good for their price, and you could choose almost any of them. Like jcpet said, you won't get much use out of shields because your pet has low defense. I have a pet like that, too, and I pretty much stopped using shields altogether. Lab rats usually have enough HP to handle that. (Based on your pet's stats, I assume she is a lab rat.) If you're planning to keep zapping your pet, you should definitely hang on to your Velms Healing Potion. For lab rats who tend to have high HP, it's usually much more economical than the typical healers. Once your HP climbs past 500, you'll be getting more HP back from Velms than from a Greater Healing Scroll.
 
Your battle pet has 238 strength, which means her strength boost is 4.5. If you were to get two of Scroll of Knowledge, you could use it with Lens Flare and deal (11 icons + 11 icons) x 4.5 boost = 99 damage points. That's enough to take out the second-wave opponents (Back Alley Bruiser, Roadside Bandit, Hedgewitch, Charming Subversive, Smug Philosopher, and Zombie Hooligan) on Mighty or the third-wave opponents (Midnight Smuggler, Nefarious Plotter, Licensed Conjurer, Brutal Mercenary, Stalwart Explorer, and Ghostly Knight) on Average in just one turn. You'll help your team out more if you can fight stronger opponents, though. You could invest in weapons that deal more icons in damage or you could increase your strength by zapping (which it sounds like you'll probably continue to do). To get any better attack weapons than the Scroll of Knowledge, you're going to have to spend quite a bit more NP - probably over 1m.
