Yes, but, as Musical Shoyru said, they only freeze after the round that you used it. So, attack with Thunder Sticks along with lens flare (and a weapon), then you can attack again with two weapons as they remain frozen for the round. And if you get Warlocks Rage you get a third turn they can't do anything at all.

I've never heard of it being temporary. I really think you'll have to change it back yourself. It seems like there is a 1 in 5000 chance this happens. Can't hurt to ask TNT to change it back but since it's not from a RE but from something you did yourself (feeding the jelly), it's possible they'll say tough luck.
