I could not be more exited. Nickelodeon was the worst thing to ever happen to Neopets in my opinion. I have been on Neo for over 13 years now, and personally the time in which I took the longest breaks was when they were in charge of the site.

I am really looking forward the what is going to happen with JumpStart in charge of the site, hopefully some changes will happen (much needed ones). But at least it cannot be worse.

I am still and forever will be hoping for being able to choose between converted and unconverted when we paint pets, that would be THE best thing that could happen! Well that and more plots and awesome site events (with a little less focus on NC events please)

What are you guys hoping for?

OOOH this is so exiting. I just got the event while spinning the wheel of knowledge. I really hope it's the premise for a plot.

I would love to know about that pool too, I still need all 6 avatars and site themes. So I would love to make it easier.

Random avatars are really anoying I agree, random anything is annoying actually. I never had luck at all, the odds are never in my favor so I understand you perfectly on this one.

Putting aside the obvious, getting your neopets, neopoints and all your items stolen from you and never getting them back. Random avatars are the worst.

Oh and expired avatars and old trophies, it always makes em sad to think that I missed them when I could of gotten them. (I was young and foolish when I started neopets, I did not really know what I was doing half the time)

 

I've always found the dancing neocola can hilarious.

OMG I never knew about the dancing neocola can :D This is officially my new favorite item on neopets. Hands down.

I may just start a collection of those. seriously.

I don't use the Neoboards that much so luckily I haven't had this happen to me yet. I choose the avatar I want to use because it's pretty, not just because it's super rare. ~~Haters gonna hate~~

I wish everyone would think like you. But it is not the impression I get from people on neopets at all. Especially on the avatar boards ( I guess I can understand that one, but still you should not judge someone because of the way an avvie looks)

I do all the free ones for sure, I never get much of anything but the odd 1000 nps here and there or the dubloons, it's free stuff so it is nice. I do stay away from the ones that cost money tho, i never win enough for it to be profitable.

I did get a few of the wheel avatars so that is nice, eventually I'll get around to getting to the other ones, but for now I would rather save all the neopoints I make to get nice pets back.

Awwww now I want one, It's just a cute little ghost. I have so many things I want to get for my pets first tho. He would not go with any of my current pets, they are babies so the would be scared off. :/

Maybe if I get a Halloween pet one day, I'll get him (or her) this petpet.

Also really looking forward to anything Halloween, it is one of my favorite holidays. October is also my birth month ^.^ So there is always a lot of reasons to celebrate.

Plus apple pies, and pumpkin tea. *sigh* Autumn is so nice. (I don't like summer much at all)

Can't wait to see what happens on neopets, I am so hoping for a plot *keeps fingers crossed* I never got a Halloween PB from the food contest, I was so much hoping for one, but if there is a plot, I am hoping that there will be one in the prize list. Just maybe. That would be so nice.

I can't wait to see what they do with all of this, if it's a new plot, or perhaps just a mini plot, even that would be nice. I have not done a neopets plot in years, the last one I did was tale of woe, and even then I never finished it. So I guess it goes back to the LDP o.O Forever ago lol.

I did the same thing, donated money to wishing well, tho I don't really call it donating, after all it just *poofs* away from the game, it's just one other of these neopoints sinks, but hey, I like avatars so.... Can still be called an achievement Two new avatars in two days, it's not too bad. (I got the Meowclops avatar yesterday yay).

Wow congrats, you sure are lucky.

Yesterday I won a Pirate Krawk morphing potion at the forgotten shore daily, in 13 years on neopets it was the first time I ever ever won anything worth more than 10,000 neopoints. I am a very unlucky person both in real life and on neopets I guess (still waiting on a FFQ, seems like I am the only person on neopets that never got one) but I was so so thankful for the morphing potion, I made me feel finally so lucky ヽ(；▽；)ノ I know I sound silly but it was nice,

So yay congrats, I know how awesome it feels to get good randoms events thrown your way!!!

I think avatars are a fun, challenging thing to collect. Not everyone likes it and it's fine, but it's clearly something a lot of people LOVE to do (I know I'm one of them). They seem to be some kind of status symbol too, but I don't really like that. I don't like all the judging that goes on with how many avatar you have, what kind of avatars you have, if you have a lot of retired ones, what avatar you use at the moment, ect...

Like if I want to use a clickable avatar, I get less people talking to me and taking me seriously on the neoboards than if I use a really old one from the Maraqua plot, it makes no sense to me.

I really like trying to get game avatars too, even though I don,t have many (not very good at flash games lol) But it's a real challenge so when you finally get that avatar it's all worth it.

I never gave away my pets, just sometimes when the lab zap one of my lab rats a nice color I give it away. I got lucky sometimes with the ray, but it was not pets I wanted, but it made others happy. I don't check on them tho, I don't really care at all.

I sometimes search for my UC faerie Pteri that got stolen from my account, I'll never ever get over losing him I think (yes, I know it's just pixels) But he is on a frozen account now, so I don't even have the consolation that he is being taken care of.

I used to have a sandwich gallery, I had so many sandwiches, but I sold them all eventually because I got kind of tired of it. Now I don't really collect anything in my gallery, after my account got hacked I just wanted to get neopoints back and some nice pets.

I just, I guess I don't care much about collecting anything anymore. Well except from avatars, at least those can never be taken away from my account no matter what. Even if get hacked again. But If I started some sort of collectiong again I would go with Christmas themed items, I always wanted a Christmas gallery lol, but I know it's not very original.

I love the snicklebeast too, I looks really awesome. It just looks so angry lol.

So, speculation time, when do you think that prices for the pb and other moderately priced things (cursed elixir) will go back up?

I think the prices will go back up for sure, I would definitely hold on to the more expensive items. Halloween an zombie and gosth paint brushes always go up in price around this time of year, but with them being given away like that, I don't know if it will be the same next year...

I wish I would have as much luck as you, but most days I only get the ''there is nothing to be found today'' message. And when I don't it's always only neopoints.

I love Halloween too, I am always happy this time of year. I can't wait to see what other Halloween surprises they have for us, maybe new pets, I am hoping for a new plot *crosses fingers* I love scary things.
