Hello! Recently, I discovered a bunch of really old activation messages in my e-mail, one of them being for this forum. I apparently signed up on August 5, 2006, meaning this account had its 10th birthday about 2 weeks ago. My profile also says I'm the 222nd user to register, which is pretty cool seeing how there's over 26 thousand users registered now. I started playing Neopets in 1999 and played it nearly every day until about 2006. Sadly, I have no clue what my password or email that I used to log into it was. I did use to lurk on really old unofficial Neopets forums back in the day, but I never felt like signing up. You can see my blatant creativity with the username "hello". I guess I was too lazy to think of a name, haha. I feel like it was just yesterday when I started playing Neopets when I was in the third grade, and now I've graduated from University of Maryland with an English Major degree. Time flies, doesn't it? Well, I guess this is goodbye for now (or forever), seeing as I haven't touched Neopets or let-alone any Neopets forums in almost a decade. Feel free to ask questions or just reply in general, although I highly doubt I'll remember any of you, lol.

Welcome back to Neo! What was your old account called? I submitted a ticket to TNT about my account and they did help me get back into my account :) Maybe the same could work for you? I can't remember if I at least needed the correct email address... You never know, you might find it again :)

One occasionally sees BCGs on the Trading Post (I think there is one now in fact)!

I don't know about everyone else, but I definitely go through phases of logging into NP every day, followed by months of inactivity!

 

It definitely feels easier to get trophies these days ;)

I also had a question: is it the case that if you don't send the score, it won't count? So if you lose games you won't actually harm your team's overall ranking? I've not lost a game yet but I was wondering! Is that what people mean by cheating?

Luckily it was only 5000NP, but I tried checking "offers you had made" and nothing came of it :( Thanks for the advice though!

Has anyone else had cases where the NPs in a trade are accepted by another player but no items are traded?

 

I think this happened to me. 

 

I keep on hearing about "duping" and I'm now wondering if I tried to trade duped items? Do duped items still function as their non-duped counterparts?

 

 

I'm so annoyed -- I went to the Dark Faerie today and I wasn't on a quest!!! I have no idea why it wasn't letting me yesterday :( Is Illusen's day the same every year? I've just set a reminder on my calendar. If it happens again I'll email TNT. Maybe I'll get the avatar in 2 years from now :/

I've just logged in after months of inactivity and I went to select an Illusen quest for the avatar but apparently I'm on a Jhudora Quest.

 

I'm confused because I don't remember selecting a Jhudora quest and if I did it was a very long time ago.

 

When I go on the Jhudora page I get this: Just GO AWAY!

Can't you see that I have an infestation of Cheery Blossoms and petpets?!?

 

 

Will this go away at some point today so that I can do an Illusen quest?

My favourite UC pets are 1. Plushie Draik and 2. MSPP Poogle :D

I never knew the forgotten shore even gave out draik eggs! That is indeed super lucky. You can also hatch the egg if you want a Draik - http://www.neopets.com/medieval/draiknest.phtml :)

 

The ticket pages are a bit wonky as of late. Try changing your language and sending a ticket in English.

In other news, I've tried creating a side account a couple of times today but it keeps on loading a page and then refreshing, then when I try and make the name I just submitted it says it's already been taking. It's very irritating.

I only got a participants trophy :( next time I must try and do it every day! I hope they release another avatar next time XD

I rarely check how much these items are worth and instead just pop them in my SDB. One day I should really go through and sell some stuff (I have nearly 1400 items in there!)

I ended up trading my UC faerie ixi for a really cool Maractite Draik with 1200+ HSD. I managed to beat the Space Faerie today! I highly recommend the Robot's lucky foot. It replenishes most of your health in one turn, it's a real table-turner!

How afraid of BDC group do we need to be? I ended up going with Brutes this time round.

I tend to check up on my pets as I often put them on my side accounts. But if I've pounded a pet at random, it's usually because I really want nothing to do with it.

 

I don't know why but I was quite addicted to pet trading last month. I'm now out of transfers though :(

It's so nice to hear how people's attitudes are changing, my dad had a difficult time with his parents on this subject but that is going back a few years :)

I don't have 4 of the avatars, so I'm going to stalk lots of neoboards and forums like this to find out which team is my best bet. I'm also trading my coco jubjub for a really good BD pet, so I might be able to take out the bosses as well :D

 

I hope these skirmishes continue for a while - I really want to get all the avatars!

I bought a little card thingy on e-bday which seemed to give me the right code too - I now have her as a challenger... Now to find a pet that can beat her?! I'm offering a custom (egg + pb) draik for a good BD pet, which is the best thing I can offer without a UC pet :P

Does it make a difference as to which challengers you face? i.e. does someone who faces the hardest challenger on the highest difficulty, gain more than someone who faces the easiest on the lowest? I'm talking mainly about the point system here, I can't figure out how it works. I know that the difficulty will have an influence so that it's better to face whatever challenger (even the easiest) on the highest difficulty)

I got the Seekers avatar last round and would like to know which one people are going to join next?

 

Also, does anyone have any idea how long this war is going to last? There are 5 avatars at stake here!
