Couldn't figure out the trick :(

 

I couldn't figure it out as well but made an educated guess. Lol.

 

 

Would anyone be willing to throw out another hint to #8? :/ I know the names, I know the pronunciations, I've said them out loud and listened to the recordings on Neopets, but I still have no clue!!

An Ogrin that I picked up from the pound changed to Faerie -> White -> Pink -> Shadow. And I just wanted him to change species!

OMG! I just solved #6 on my first guess. Now, I just want to go sit in a corner and die. I can't believe it took me days to figure it out.

 

And finally, back to the mind boggling #2. (I don't wanna....)

Hmmm - I got #9 on my first try, having done some math... although I'm not really sure whether I found the trick or whether I just got lucky :P

 

At least this is a puzzle where you have a 3/5 chance of getting it right :)

 

Actually it's 3 out of 4. You already know that Breik can't be the answer.

Woohoo! Finally got #7! And on my last guess, too. I fell asleep with the phrase still in my head and when I woke up and took a shower to get ready for work, it was like a lightbulb suddenly appeared. Goes to show that you need to relax first. Lol!

 

Props to Izzy for getting me hooked on these puzzles so much! As much as the prize motivates me, solving them has been really fun.

 

And yep, for #8, knowing how to pronounce them is important.

 

I'm back to 6 and 2. I feel really dumb for still not getting 6.

#8 is done. Finally, something that didn't take me hours to figure out. (well, aside from 1)

 

I'm still working on 2,6 and 7.

 

EDIT: Everyone says 7 is easy.. I must be doing something absolutely wrong.

Sigh. I'm stumped on puzzle 6. For the life of me, I can't find the Olive tree. And even then, there's so many letters left with several difficult consonants. Therefore (in my opinion), it can't be an anagram.

 

As for the jigsaw, I got it but have no idea what the riddle means.

 

And of course, #2 is still up in the air. Gosh, my problems get bigger everyday. Lol.

Gah.. Just how many letter V's are in that puzzle? I can't find the last item but I know what it is. Sigh.

1,3 and 4 done.. But like everyone else, I'm stuck on #2.

You have answered this puzzle correctly! Way to go! Go ahead and try another puzzle from the puzzle list.

 

Oh wow. I feel so smart now. Lol.

Waaahh.. I thought I already had it when my theme changed automatically yesterday. I thought it was so cool. I didn't know you had to refresh at the Haunted Woods.. Sigh.. *cries*

Just curious, in the previous years' events, what masks have been released so far? Does anyone have a link?
