I just checked my poogle and her whole picture in my lookup just disappeared. 0_o It's just a white square now. She was wearing the Negg Faerie Wings too.

 

The Real Negg Faerie pulled one over on us because he's sneaky like that.

For a chia, then I may probably call him handsome. Not really my type. As far as vamps go, I prefer Count Von Roo.

I'd try and aim for about 30-35 different stocks. Sometimes you may want to buy a multiple if you see a particulary good stock (Rated an A/B on neodaq) as you can always get the other not-so-great-rated stocks later, but in general you should be aiming for a whole bunch of all the stocks. It'll probably take you about a month and a half to get 30 different stocks if you buy consistently. :)

 

About the A/B rating.. I've never noticed this before. Where can I find this?

Basically Gnomes, Jazan and Nabile items, stamps (any and all including coins and scarabs).

 

For stamps, I do it only half heartedly because they're so expensive. As for Jazan and Nabile, I'm missing both their stamps and Jazan's Guyliner. NC items aren't included in my collection, though.

Also not sure if I should sell PEOP soon, (ie. if and when it hits 30; it's at 27, and hasn't hit 35 in 2 years)...

 

I used to wait until stocks hit 40 or 45 to sell. But it seemed to me that if and when they do, it doesn't happen when I actually check my stocks. So nowadays, I just sell when they hit 30 or more. Double is fine by me. I'm selling a lot more often now though my portfolio's value still manages to stay near the 1 million range. I still buy daily.

 

I wish neopets comes up with some ways for people to analyze stocks, just like real life. The stock market in neopets is mostly about luck & patience. Nothing else :)

 

I agree. I practice reading financial statements in real life.

I can say with relative certainty that a score of 40k will get you a gold trophy. I can't say if there even are silver and bronze trophies. I know that I've achieved a score under but close to 40k without getting a trophy.

 

I see. I was just curious. During the GMC, I got a score of 39,800 because of a false start. I never did get a trophy for that.

You get bumped upwards, so you'll get your trophy :) When I submitted my score, I was in the 100th place, now I'm number 28. And I see that you're actually displayed as being number 1 on the game page, where it displays the first three.

 

ETA: You don't have to be in the top 17 to get a trophy.

 

Thanks for explaining. So if you get 40,000, do you always get a gold trophy? What are the conditions to get silver or bronze?

#6 was the first puzzle that stumped me, despite being so easy. I didn't realize the Olive Tree was the answer. Lol. I searched for it for days... and couldn't understand how people said they found "everything". That puzzle was my first clue for all the other puzzles that followed to check whatever was left over.

 

I never actually solved #9, the Zurroball high score, though I did guess (and rightly) that it involved the letters of the staff member's names. So my first guess was Twitterpate simply because he (or she) had the longest name. :)

 

Also for #12, the Hexagon puzzle, I didn't get #4 and #6 clues. Specially #4. "Keypad" was certainly the farthest thing from my mind. I thought of "Smilie", "Avatar", and I forgot what else, but of course, they didn't fit the hexagon. I thought of "Fruits" for #6. :) Luckily, the answer could be guessed from clues 1, 2 and 3.

 

#14 had me randomly clicking at first, until I got frustrated when I felt I was going in circles. So, I looked at the image source codes and they were all different. Lol. The doors were numbered until 75 or 80, if I recall correctly, although at the very first page there was a door 99.

Well, I tried this and got 40,000. I checked the hi scores table and I was #100. Not sure if I still get the trophy if I get bumped off the list though..

Oh, how cool! Me too. I'm a huge fan of RPG's. Skyrim and Baulders gates are some favorites of mine. I also enjoy the sims on PC occasionally. ^^ Haha.

 

Haha.. I have Skyrim but I'm still learning it. My head ached with the Call of Duty style of gameplay so had to stop. Currently trying Mass Effect. I already finished the Dragon Age series and waiting for the 3rd installment. Baldur's Gate was also created by Bioware, and is really the best old school RPG there is. And.... yeah, I have The Sims Medieval also currently installed. I was addicted to it for a long time.

I'm not sure whether I play the game because I'm single or I'm single because I play this kid game .....

 

Lol. I'm 28 and I still play. My boyfriend sometimes makes fun of me because of it even if he used to have an account as well. Still, when I customize my pets or change the coding for my lookup, he comments and tells me if it looks good or not. :)

 

Well I'm 32 and still playing and everyone knows. My two best friends play as well and they are both in their 30's. My boyfriend knows and he doesn't care either. I have xBox and play Assassins Creed( my favorite game) And Bioshock (I've been a Little Sister for Halloween the last two years). I am a gamer and I don't care who knows! lol These games do not effect my life negatively. So why stop? They make me happy and I LOVE the whole world Neopets has created for me to delve into. If the people in your life are truly your friends they won't care what you do as long as you are still living a healthy life in between. My boyfriend even went online and found me a 1920's era gas nozzle so I could make a new Adam Syringe for my Little Sister costume. The original one I made was plastic and was stolen... He is not a gamer AT ALL but accepts me the way I am. :-) Of course there are some people that just roll their eyes when I talk about it but I don't care.

 

I'm coming up on 11 years on Neo this February. I can't stop now! :laughingsmiley:

 

I'm also a gamer. All my officemates and my family know that too. I have been since I was 5 years old. Haha. When I was in college, almost all my friends were exclusively guys because they were the only ones I could relate to. I wasn't interested in shopping or soap operas. I played MMORPGs with the guys and watched lots and lots of anime. Even now, I still play Bioware games. RPGs are my favorite.

 

I really believe that I will still be playing games (Neopets or otherwise) until I'm an old lady. Lol.

I agree. It's interesting. There isn't a Draik or a Krawk in the list. And Lutaris are high up in rank at 2.14% compared to a Bori or Ogrin at only 1.8% chance.

You can still get Krawk and Draik, the rarest species is actually Poogle to zap into.

 

What's your reference for the rarest species to zap into? I got my poogle from the lab, but she was just a plain red then. I zapped her again and she turned jelly. I thought she looked better.

A note on Tinypic: it doesn't support PNG the last time I tried; it auto converted it to jpeg if I remember correctly.

Nope, my lookup uses PNG. Tinypic doesn't convert them.

I actually got the answer right, too. But um, I kinda "explained" my answer so I didn't win. Lol. My exact answer was:

The Faerie's Ruin plot was the first plot I ever encountered despite having a 6.5 year account (and a 12 year one before that which I still have access to) not counting the Altador one. I was so excited and did all the events... until the Wraiths got too strong for me in the Battledome. I never trained my BD pet much.

 

I was so irritated because I thought I would never be able to complete the plot. So I stopped. Actually, I quit neopets then (like I usually do) and went on a 2 year hiatus.

 

When I came back, I realized I could claim prizes with the points I had and got a Faerie PB. I wish I had just continued with the plot. I would've had a cooler trophy. Lol.

 

Now I wish there was another plot. Haha.

I now have one available transfer, so I will now be able to transfer this pet (name is Acanthe) to anyone who wants her.

Sigh. I wish I hadn't bought that Faerie Ixi Morphing Potion 3 days ago now. The wings don't matter to me anyway and without them, she looks just like a Royal Girl Ixi. And I customized her so I don't need the Royal Girl clothes as well. So I'm regretting it a little now.

 

Also, I like Acanthe's name. ^_^
