Ugh! Was doing so well then got super busy the last few days and just realised I have to finish them all in the next....hour! Puzzle #27 will be the death of me, all I see is 14 and I can't make use of any of the clues!! Barely even tried yet with those butterflies :/ But this has been super fun so thanks Izzy for entertaining me for the past month! Hope there will be one next year, and definitely agree that this beats TNT's stuff (GMC I'm looking at you...)

 

Anybody mind sharing some last minute hints with me? :rolleyes_anim:

 

Can't give you too much help, as I'm stuck on all the same ones except 20! But for 20, I think it's been kind of hinted at but just to make it clear I guess, all you need to work it out is that piece of paper, no neopets research needed! But as for a more helpful hint, look at the common themes throughout the message and think about what they might mean (not sure if I'm being too cryptic, or not cryptic enough :/)

 

 

Edit: Hrmm I think I might be having the same problem that Darthenia did, the butterflies puzzle is acting up, but as I can't get #27, I don't think it's going to matter!

I think I've been on holidays too long! My brain is frying...I know the mootix one is about the numbers, and found the 14 solution fairly easily but then I've been completely stumped. And today's one too...don't even know where to start!

I can't really add anything else to what elbandito999 said. If you got 14, you're doing it right.

Also....puzzle #28 I don't understand how we are meant to solve it? As in what do we type in the answer box? Or are we meant to be able to click it? (I've found something but can't click it so don't know what to do about it!)

I did. But I got my first guess wrong. So the first pattern wasn't it.

 

 

:O you managed to find two different patterns in this!! Nice! Struggling to find any sort of relation....although the answers to these always seem to come to me when I'm not sitting here staring at it for hours! Break time perhaps :) maybe I'll go earn some points for the ninjas :ph34r:

 

Edit: found a pattern, put in the answer and was wrong. seems to be the thing for this puzzle....is the real solution related to the wrong pattern?? I'm assuming we've found the same first one?

Wow that's so weird that they've changed the challenges...I did all of mine on the original 5 point ones including the bonuses, so I feel a bit like I've cheated! Still have the puzzle scores challenge to go, I've sent about a million but they're not registering, I'll give it another go later I think.

 

In terms of pirates v ninjas difficulty, I think it's completely dependent on the individual. Ie, I just cannot get zurroball (I fluked the 10 and couldn't get any bonuses) but on the other hand I found some of the other games like bruno's backwoods/bullseye fairly easy. As for the pirates I know I would've struggled on a few (barf boat) whilst others would be fine (freaky factory). I think the main issue was that ninjas are those who chose puzzles over action (and therefore admitted that action games aren't our forte), and then most of the games were fairly action-y, so it's not that the games/scores were necessarily harder but perhaps that ninjas find action games harder and thought puzzle meant more sudoku rather than reaction times (at least that's what I thought :P).

 

Anyway that's just an idea! Personally I think we ninjas got it pretty easy with today having that 5 point one there for at least a few hours! By the way, is there any difference in prizes etc for the winning team, or just the glory :P?

Mine just started working then, didn't log out or anything, just refreshed. Although I played about 4 games in that time? Maybe need to kick start it by sending a score :P

 

Also, do the 'send a score of 5' mean you can only send a score of exactly that much? Is that even possible in games like top chop???

 

Edit: all good, seems it doesn't have to be exactly 5. so....why the easy challenges? Seems a bit unfair to pirates!??

Struggling on number 25! Im guessing the letters relate somehow? Egh! Also for some reason it says 1/3 guesses but i havent put anything in? Anyone else have that? Hopefully it doesn't matter and I'll get it on my 'first' guess...eventually :P

Oooh! #24 was tricky :) Solved it on my third guess :O

 

Hint: when choosing the odd one out, all of the puzzle is significant!

 

Did the same thing, got the words and then put in the wrong answer. Then I actually took some time to think about it and worked it out :) So be careful when working the odd one out!

Oooh I always thought the avatar was from hatching the egg! That is good news...to the trading post I shall go then! Doing my first ALP lend in December so will apply for the draik one after that :)

Yayyyyyy!!!! I love the forgotten shore! Never got one of these, but I did get a treasure chest which had a pirate krawk morphing potion in it (which made me think that buying and opening 100s of chests was a good idea...) But I almost fell off my chair when I saw this :) Seems they're handing them out a bit more often (I saw a post here a day or two ago from someone who also got one).

 

Now. What to do with it?? I'm not a huge draik fan, but there is an avatar that goes with using it isn't there? But is the avatar worth 2.5mil....And if I sold it for the 2.5mil then I'd be closer to that asparagus avatar (and maybe buying some others)....HRM. Help!

Saw the challenges and was fairly happy until I saw ruins rampage, which I hadn't even been able to get any score on to count towards that games avatar. Then I read that miniature guide from elbandito999....and now it was the quickest challenge :/ cannot thank you enough!!! Not realizing there were secret switches was probably the issue hehe.

 

And as for habi, on my laptop everything else lags soo much so I just don't use it, but on my desktop it's not a problem which is nice

Ok...so a couple of questions:

 

1. I know there are issues with accessing multiple accounts on the one computer, but is this only if you are using both accounts regularly? (My boyfriend has an account that he rarely uses but I want to use his computer to log on to mine)

 

2. Accessing side accounts...I use different browsers sometimes, they won't think I'm doing something sneaky will they? (I adhere to all the usual side account rules)

 

3. Is there any issue with accessing your account on multiple computers (I use a desktop and a laptop)?

Ughh I just cannot get the hang of zurroball. Luckily (by complete fluke) I got exactly 10 on one game so have completed the challenge, but no bonuses for me! Bouncy supreme was somewhat frustrating but got the hand of it. Excited to see today's challenges :)

 

Also I can't seem to load ugga drop, wrath of the snowager and jumpin' gem heist. Does anyone know if there is actually a prize for doing all the games, or is it just that if a challenge comes up for 'send in 10 scores' it will be automatically done? I wish there was a guide that said everything that counted towards the ninja's scores too :(

Okay, seriously TNT....How is Zurroball a Puzzle game? o_O I am not amused!! Today's challenges are going to give me a run for my money :(

 

High score in Bouncy supreme is 456 *facepalm* This is going to be a long night!

 

Ahhh I know!! Weird though, yesterday when I was going through playing all the games I thought hopefully there is no zurroball because I never understood how to hit it more than once :/ guess I will have to read some guides :(

hi everyone! i just got my score for the Wocky thing - that was weirdly difficult!

 

Any idea what the stump game is yet? I think it might be turmac roll im giving it a go now..

Arrrrr I sent in my wocky game score and then it came up with the error thing. I am not keen on this game! Give us sudoku and...I don't know, puzzles, not crazy action! Anyone know what the pirates got?

Edit: done wocky wobble! After working out that you could in fact miss some, and a bit of practice :) Btw there's no glitch with the 5 scores anymore (yay!)

My gallery is muffins, just muffins. No cupcakes allowed! I'm thinking about including things used to create muffins (after I get the expensive muffins that is).

 

Oh, and elbandito999. For Phoebe and massage there are soothing stones. Not actually used for massage in Neopia but it works.

I've only managed to send three scores, before I got the 'You have already sent three scores...' message. Did you do anything special?

 

I sent three scores yesterday, then it wouldn't let me do the bonus scores. But then today I was able to send another three scores as it reset my 'send score' count back to zero (as it usually does). So I completed the bonus over two days... if that makes sense :weird:

it's a fairly standard (although cleverly worded) puzzle of this type. There's no ambiguity about it, so even if you don't know much about neopets, you can work it out exactly.

 

Ahh I was being very silly, thanks! Got to read the whole Maraquan ruin plot though...why hasn't there been a plot in so long :( I've never done one!

Ahh I don't know enough about neopets to get today's (I'm assuming it refers to a character??) I have no idea how to go about finding them :/

On the side bar on the right hand side before you start the game there are buttons where the top scores are. One says friend challenge, one says high scores and then there is another that says World Challenge. The world challenge is apparently a contest between everyone who joins it for who can get the highest score. It costs 100NP per hour to join though. I joined because someone previously stated that joining fixes the sending only 3 scores issue. Unfortunately, in my case, it didn't fix it. But oh well. Hopefully someone on team ninja can update if and when the score issue is fixed. I really want my other bonus prizes!

 

Although not 'fixed', since it's a new day you can send your bonus scores in now :) Ps come over to the team ninja board!

All the other ninja's must be in hiding....or working on their scores to send in :) And is it just me or do the bonus scores only not count for ninjas?? I sense a conspiracy :P

 

Edit: seems to work now since we can send our 3 more daily scores, so get playing freaky factory ninjas!
