I got these too and it says the guy logged in 12 days ago. Every time I open one of the spam messages, I receive a new one. I figured it must be a last ditch April Fools joke..

i looove the first of the month.. i am going to spend the next 4 hours playing flash games while the high scores are still low haha

i've never been a lab ray fan and i have therefore never bought the map despite having the neopoints for it. it just seems like a really expensive daily to me. the only reason i would ever get it would be to try and zap pets to adopt out, unless i ended up zapping some incredible pet and just had to keep it for myself.

i do not at all doubt that there are plenty of generous neopians around. before i was frozen i had quite a lot of stuff i didn't need including a handful of morphing potions and paintbrushes and if i saw someone post about their dreamie and i had a MP or PB to suit it i'd usually just gift it to them without warning. no point in hoarding stuff i'm never going to use, rigt?

yeah i only just noticed that all of the auctions are dung and when you search for anything on the auctions it just searches for dung lol.. thought it was only the pound thing at first

i had never heard of lost quiggle prior to reading this thread so i'm going to take a look now! maybe one day i will actually get over my aversion to the lab map and buy it for one of my sides so i can try and zap for someone's dreamie..

i have been meaning for years to teach myself how to lucid dream on command(ish). i have gotten to the dream remembering and journaling stage many times but i have never kept it up. i have only had one lucid dream and it lasted all of 10 seconds before i woke up.. all i got to do was walk down a street. i was more keen on lucid dreams when i was not as happy as i am now, though, and i haven't thought about them in a while. they'd still be absolutely insanely cool, but the things i imagine i would do in them have changed a lot since my life has improved.

subpar april fool's joke haha.. i went to transfer my draik to its new owner and couldn't do so. had been waiting for the joke and immediately figured it must have something to do with the countdowns

yes, because I'd use the FFQ to paint the Draik(s) I already have Water. It'd save me a good 15 mil (? not sure on Water PB prices).

I don't think I've ever been playing during an April Fools prank (on one of my many hiatuses, probably) but I'll be around for this one.. I look forward to it : p

i could never ever shoot or injure an animal intentionally and especially not one of my own pets, so i am personally against this (and EXTREMELY against hunting for sport). i don't like hearing about other people doing it, either, although it is their choice. it's pretty common among some communities, especially in the farming sector.

I read that Zimmerman had placed forty something calls to emergency services in the past year (or some similar span of time) while on duty, most of them regarding black males - he clearly had some serious issues and should never have been in such a job in the first place. Some people are just sick. It's disgusting that nothing was done to punish Zimmerman and that he has essentially gotten away scot-free.

uni work galore.. listening to podcasts of the couple of lectures i've missed and taking notes, many pages of readings, a lab report, and 2 weeks worth of lab work for biological anthropology. i'll get there..

.. when you've been frozen for something you didn't do?

 

I logged on yesterday to find that I had been frozen for 'scamming other users'. I was (and still am) pretty upset as I put a lot of effort into my account, bought NC and premium for it and made sure I never broke any rules. The ban reason especially got me a bit riled up as I spend quite a lot of my time on Neopets giving people things randomly - I'm not a taker or a scammer in any sense.

 

I've sent in a ticket but I'm not feeling too hopeful. This has happened to me before (a few years ago) and I just got automated response after automated response. Has this ever happened to any of you guys? What can I do?

My girlfriend and I have been living together for two months (she moved from Australia to be with me) and right now she has a super intense migraine, complete with hypersensitivity to light/sound, nausea, vomiting and pain so bad it makes her cry. It set in pretty much out of nowhere but she knew it was coming around 30 minutes before it hit. I am really worried about her - it's the first time she's been sick since we've been living together. Of course it happens to every couple but it really isn't nice. I am looking after her as best I can but it is the most heartbreaking thing in the world to see her so sick and in pain and not being able to do much about it. I just wanted to post about it somewhere while she is in our bed behind me trying to sleep it off. :-(

I can't say I'm all that fazed except when the inflaton or deflation is absolutely ridiculous (as it happens with things like MPs and PBs). I remember first painting one of my pets striped and it cost at least 5+ times as much as it does now. It doesn't bother me that much as I'm quite happy with how many NPs I have now and my achievements but it's slightly irritating to think about haha

Raining and grey but I don't mind as I had the day off uni today. I like rain when I'm inside.
