i like that idea a lot too. Specially while I am going for those pesky avatars.

Like you did with the coconut avatar, start restocking at the store for about a month. You'll get familiar with the common re-stock, and rarities. It will also help you with a specific price to look for (5k) and the speed of trying to restock a higher rarity item.

 

After practicing for a few weeks, really really try to get it on half price day. The price of the item will now be at 2,500 and the shops will move MUCH faster, so there's more chances at getting the avatar.

 

It took me roughly two half priced days to get it. The first one I wasn't all that serious about it, but had my game face on for the next one... and I got it within the first 2 or 3 restocks of trying.

 

It's all about practice and training your eyes to look for something out of the ordinary (price).

 

I've suggested this method to a few friends who have been trying for "years" to get it - and they got it the next half priced day. *shrug*

 

 

Oh gosh! That would be torture!!! By the time you search through that page, the candy will be long sold.

 

Again, I suggest ignoring the candy picture and name and look only at the price when it restocks.

haha yea probably not but I am willing to wake up early for it hahaha

i think once u get the avatar you shouldn't be able to buy any other haha so it saves them for us

What are some tips to get this avatar? is a certain time easier?

great i will keep that in mind. normally i forget about it until i look at my avatar list and then go and try my luck. today was lucky. next is dice a roo which i figure i will never get haha.

I was a little upset cause it was worth 99k but I figure it will be a nice reminder of me getting it.

I do believe that they should get punishment for it. I see it as a form of scamming because if you are about to win and they leave they are scamming you from a key. Also that's time wasted. I only play with friends but even so I haven't played in a year. Prizes were awful for me.

I got the middle one and I got the Screaming Evil Coconut which I put into my stamp album for safe keeping than realized I cannot take it out haha oh well. And it knocked down and then nothing, kind of like it frozen, so I opened neopets in a separate window after taking a screen shot just incase and saw i had the item, 10k, and the avatar. That when I started my dance. This was my first time. I always shot for the middle one. & it just disappeared that why I was afraid and took a screen shot haha

Yes. If i want to play it in class i sit in the very back so nobody can see. I told someone once and was laughed at so now I keep it to myself except for my family. Gotta explain to them why I am always on my laptop.

i got 3 maximum hit points today which is exciting cause i am only 7 hp away from 100

So excited! I got it but I know I didn't try a lot for it anyway! So I'm glad there's finally a solution. Now, if there were a certain amount for lever of doom that would be cool. :P

what i have learned was its normally in the range of spending 15-40k. i got it in the birthday cause you are more likely to get it and i only spent 17k

i still think i u click the button it would just give u the avatar and not take your nps but its their tricky way of getting nps i guess haha

i wonder how it was figured out? those clues didn't help haha

then tdn should update this cause its wrong info and could freak people out like me

I did it this morning and went back now to do it and got this message.
