the only stat increases i've been getting are for movement -__-"" from the air and earth faeries sighhhhhhhh

Like many, I couldn't access my old account cause I was under 13 when I made it and lied about my birthday (I didn't realise who important that information was haha)

 

Started afresh about 5 years after my old account was created, and I've been playing for about 4 years since my new account was created.

 

I find that neopets is a lot more interesting now for me than when I was a kid. Mainly because I am more aware of fan sites and stuff, and actually understand a lot of the stuff that is going on. When I was a kid, it used to be just playing flash games and buying random things. But not actually understanding how the entire site worked or how to make money efficiently etc. But now, there are so many features on the site, and I look forward to plots and events which I never knew happened as a kid. And there are so many areas in neopets that I have not actually explored or understood yet like the neodaq -_- or plushie tycoon -_-

 

I suspect neopets is really made for the kids in adults haha. Many more advanced features of the site would be interesting only for older children/teenagers/adults as compared to primary school kids.

Is it just me or is gormball being very glitchy?

 

It often skips turns. E.g. if it's supposed to be Kevin > Farvin > Ember (can't remember the actual game sequence), then the ball will jump from Kevin to Ember and skip Farvin completely.

 

And the gormball would burst on the competitors without actually showing a screen about that. Like after I press the NEXT button, the previous competitor would become a watery gloop without the screen that says THE GORMBALL HAS BURST ON XXX

 

And I've had occasions where it would be like Brian held the ball for 2 seconds, it's Brian's turn now.

 

And on that occasion, I would press NEXT producing an error screen that I was not i a gormball game. Only to check my inventory to realise I won.

 

I haven't played gormball in a long time, but I don't think the game is supposed to work like that right O_O Or is it just me that's experiencing it.

But somehow I'm not able to complete my quest :(

 

I was given a quest from the Fountain Faerie to look for a Trendy Aisha Bag and I bought one at 30k

 

But on the page where it says to abandon quest or give her the item, after I click on give her the item, I'm greeted with an "oops!" message that says: Error: Oops! Your quest could not be completed. Be sure that you're actually currently on a quest, and that you have all the necessary items!

 

Anybody knows what could be wrong? I still can't use the shop wiz so I'm definitely on the quest, and the item is still in my inventory. But I can't give it to the FF dangit

yup for me too. fashion fever and catch the petpet.

i can't bothered to wait for 2-3mins between each game, will probably forget after 1 min, so i just let it be reviewed. I occasionally get the neomail returning me the NP they owe me from all the fashion fever games from a few days back, so I believe the NPs will return to me sooner or later... just later.

i have the np lag too. it's just the number shown that is inaccurate though. once i deposit some np into the bank, the accurate number shows up again. doesn't affect me much really. just a small annoyance.

 

also, i had my scores sent to TNT for review when I was playing Fashion Fever and Catch the Petpet which was rather... weird. not sure if it has to do with the lag... or something else.

yup, I do feel like they have deflated slightly. By ~5k np or so.

Just went online and I don't know how those items went UB before, but they are all on the SW for (relatively) reasonable prices. Here are the prices I got them for:

Rock garden: 2.5k

Ink frame: 32k (there was one at 25k but was too slow)

Cave foreground: 1k

 

The other two I already had in my sdb.

 

4 more days to go for me. Hope this keeps up.

yessssss if TNT continues this i'll love them forever. Most expensive one was like evil snowball (~50NP) ... which is definitely not expensive in my book. Didn't even bother refreshing SW for cheaper prices.

argh i feel like the reason why the box is crazily unbuyable is because it's a toy... and a lot of people must have donated it before today, resulting in lower supply (and thus ridiculously high prices) :( :( :( :(

prices have started dropping already though. bought the bamboo chair for 7.5k and nova bean bag for 40k

yup definitely think waiting it out is better now. got a maraquan apple for ~35k

Would the ring of the sway be a good choice? I currently have scuzzys comb and ramtors spellbook already (10 icons each) so replacing either with the ring of sway would only be 2 icons more... hmmm
