Hmm, pet wise, I'm pretty happy....I just need to get a Chomby, then paint her Halloween, then Darigan(I like both the colors a lot) and get the Lab scientist to change Selrine back into a girl.

 

I'm trying to get the lab ray for my second account from Keyquest and random events with two to go, will likely start zapping to get some of the minor colors I like on the less rare pets(Royal Peophin and the like is what I'm hoping to get, but I figure that I'll see what happens and what I like.).

Making a third account for mutant pets....I really like the Kau, Peophin and some of the other newer ones. Probably lovecraft themed.

 

I'm hoping to get to 280 avatars before next year, which should be reachable, especially since I just started applying to the lending pets and items, and I have enough neopoints to have collateral, though I need to kick into gear and buy ETS stuff. And kick some of those game avatars out, I'm eyeing Gads(945 highpoint) Dubloon Disaster (1755 high), and Carnival of Terror (714 high), plus Cellblock and Snow Wars.

 

I'm about halfway to the Book Awards (1248 books read, and I actually don't have that many expensive ones I need to buy, half the list is less then 50,000 neopoints). Though those last hundred are going to kick my butt.

 

Oh, and after I get the avatars, finish up my battledome training and set, but that's going to be slow, unless we get another plot with battles.

I've won NC twice, been playing it at least once a day since it started(wow, has it been that long? guess it has)

I usually stock at stamps, collectible coins, Lost Desert books, books, and the attic along with the igloo.

 

I used to stock at collectible cards, which sold really well for even the commons, but the lack of Fairieland and the quests really depressed the market. I'd wait about two months after quests start up again to even try.

 

And have you finished the Altador plot yet? yes, usually it's a worthless daily, but I get neopoints often enough that I keep doing it.

I've had one for a while, and it's been fun, plus there's tons of cheap petpets right now(looking at Altachuck, the tentcal one, or any of the Keyquest prizes). Plus, I didn't even buy a piece, the petpet lab ray is one of the most common random events, if you're searching for those, I'd let it happen.

 

That said, I didn't really have any dream petpets for mine, so it makes it more fun to see what happens, and the lab only colours are cute.

I do, I just like the idea of having my pet read, though only one really reads. But she's at 1175 books. One of these days, I'm aiming for the book award, now I just read whatever I grab when I go on buying sprees.

The elusiveness of "Lutari" as a whole and in general makes it almost undesirable to obtain I think. Draiks & Krawks & Royals can be worked towards; but Lutari? 99.9% of us don't even stand a chance.

 

Really? I got Lutaris lots of times on the Lab Ray, about four times in a year, I even kept the last one(I love the Desert colouring on them.) Admittedly, maybe the Lab Ray isn't the most reliable, but it's cheaper then Draiks and Krawks.

I actually got the same thing, and decided that was too expensive. So, I went and spun the wheel of misfortune, got the disease first time out(I think it's random), I got Neggitus, which was 140np cure, instead. Or you can try the poisonous jelly trick, but the cure for that is up there too, about 10,000 last I looked.

So, just got an apple bobbing quest for Evil Thade...rather interesting, multistep, most of which I remember if someone needs help, ends up with four wearables.

 

Anyone else got and I just missed it?

So, been doing fairly well with what I have, to cap with the previous ones...but the current crop is kicking my pet well. So, I have enough money for one of the following, which I'll likely keep(I'm strictly a one player battledomer)

I'm also full out caught up on Fairie abilities. I'm leaning toward the Kelpbeard's Trident, both for the cheapness and the fact I'm not going to be facing other players. But wanted to see if any more experienced people had better ideas.

Of course, she does this right after I've been shop wizard banned...

I used to neomail people that quit (I played KQ like a MADMAN) and they always told me to either stop being a baby or that it's not a big deal so stop whining, etc. It ended up making me even MORE mad and I just said forget it, it's not worth it to drag it out. They quit and they suck, I put them on a list I keep so I don't ever play with them again.

 

I hate it when people quit, especially when it's one away from the door, but I try and cut some slack, given I've had to quit a couple times due to mini games just not starting on my computer, therefore locking my whole browser. And when I try to neomail people, ninety percent of the time, they turn out to minors. And I completely understood the poor person that quit when their token fell off the board, I'm sure they thought there was something wrong.

I got mine last year...but I painted her Fairie. I like the Hissi's, though most of the colors aren't that great. Ice is pretty, though. (Was going to paint her Halloween, bought the paint brush in anticipation...then they released the Fairie, and I like that much better.) The Relic is kind of cute as well.

 

(I am kind of sad about the conversion, though. They're supposed to be snakes with wings, not arms, which is much cooler)

The Faerie Queen wants you to get her 'Loose-leaf Faerie Journal'!!

 

Which I had in my box, and she hit my battledome pet. Double yay.

Was shopping and bought a new sea shell(or I think it's a new one) and when trying to put it in my album, got an odd message that it was an invalid stamp. So, I go to my Album to check...and all my stamps are gone(I was close to 174...including three retired stamps).

 

So, sent in an error report by the FAQ, since I couldn't find anything else...but that's going to hurt if they don't put the stamps back. Any ideas what happpened or what I can do?

Yay! Have no idea which petpet I'm going to put it on, haven't found a permenant one for any of my pets. Or may see about selling it for something I want more then the avatar.

Am I the only one slightly disappointed that we didn't get a Fire Paw sort of Kougra? I don't really like a lot of the magma pets(other then the Chomby, which I'm surprised to find I like a lot of the colours on them...I may have to make a side of all Chombies.)

Let's see. I got the Avatar, lots of codestones, two Tyrannian Paint brushes, about six Mazzews, all the rare foods, lots of lottery tickets(one that won, years ago), the 5000 NP prize....lots of stuff. And it usually takes me just a couple of hours, if I do it at the start of my dailies and just let it go, it's finished when I'm done with my games.

Yeah, I didn't realize I could use underscores when I started the account.

 

And yeah, I was using a guide the first time I went bankrupt. The trick for me, was finding out how important upgrading your shop was. Advertisments more then pay for themselves, but you need the upgrades too. And I started on the two cloth plushies, two that were huge profit makers til the end of the month. Other then that...a lot of trial and error.

I've held back on playing this game for over a year now, then figured I'd at least try it. After a bad start, then restart...

Eh, I make quite a bit of money restocking common items. You have to know what the price is worth, I personally do cards(which have the odd thing of blues being more profitable then the rarer greens, because of the Faerie quests). And it's not a bad thing to get used to doing haggling and spotting the usual patterns.

 

It's not the best, then again, super rare items can be hard sellers(still trying to sell a Gourmet food item, it's been up for a month with one offer for a 1/4 of the price.) Smaller items are quicker sellers.
