Not too long ago, the pound was opened up. Also, a new feature was created - Safe Transfers. Only drawback to this was there's only one transfer per month, and a particular pet can only be transferred once per month, so this kind of killed any hopes for using that for lending. However, while checking the neoboards, I happened across a specific thread that has just announced otherwise. While we can still only do a single transfer per month, we can transfer the pet that we just received via transfer within that same month, now! In case the thread is no longer there by the time you get to look at it, here's a few screenshots!

I'm sure things will be arranged soon - TDN staffers aren't exactly slow on the uptake. And there's nothing holding them back now. :yes:

I think that the only problem that we might run into is that they store multiple pets on the same account, thus making it so only one pet can be sent.... v_v;;

Well we do have a number of staffers here, all with side accounts... maybe those could be used to mediate the transactions?

Yeah, but how many of them do you think have any slots open since the pound reopened? XD

I found out about this too yesterday and notified Izzy and Ashley, our current ALP operators. After some testing it appears that this isn't happening to everybody because Xepha could not transfer again. I believe that Neo is testing a few things out and that's why there are reports of this being allowed. Until it's working for everyone then we can't do to much.

 

Here is a response from the ALP on this issue:

I got the same thing as V when I tried to send the ALP's Ruki back... maybe it will take effect from the 1st of June? Ashley and I are planning to practise with ordinary pound transfers soon too, so hopefully we will be able to open pet lending again anyways :)

 

So, we are aware about this and are going to keep an eye on it for the ALP. :)

Yup, 1000 NP per transfer. I doubt they'll change that.

How much does it cost to recieve the trade again? Or does it vary depending on the stats or type of neopet?

It varies depending on the stats of the pet, just like adopting normally from the pound :yes:

im new to neopets, but I love it alot, How exactly do you transfer a pet?

And what can you do on an extra account and still not get your account locked?

I have two, but I havent played any games on the other one, i only got the extra because I wanted more than 4 pets lol
