I don't think the avatar matters (I was using Grarrl-Warrior which isn't very christmassy and I got the site theme)

 

I think that if you go everyday then you have a random chance of getting it or something like that...

Yeah my avy has nothing to do with winter either I am using the fqd avy, I always do I never change it lol. Hopefully I can get it next year. I missed only one day of advent this year because I was busy putting together my daughters assembly required toys the night before Christmas and by the time I had finished it was tecnically Christmas already hehe! There is always next year! Congrats, and I will take part in the little survey!
