Toxic_Happiness147
As the title says, are you a vegitarian? I am. I was wondering if anyone else is. Please be truthful here!
Meeptroid
Nope, not me. As much as I may like animals, I have always eaten meat. I do recall a few vegetarians around this forum, however.
Awesome_Paul
Nope sorry, I'm an meat eater. But there is one thing I don't understand, Vegetarian is great. Though isn't Meat one of the daily intake you need. (Its like Meat, Dairy, Fruit and Veg etc)
Meeptroid
Meat is a vital source of nutrients and whatnot, I believe. But vegetarians find other ways to take in protein. Tofu is one of the non-meat products that provide protein I think. Basically, vegetarians have their ways of getting nutrients. I just do it the old fashion way and eat meat. Loc
Do Vegans eat milk and eggs? Or do only some? As for me I couldn't live without meat, literally, I hate tofu, so I would probably die.
Ellie_Penguin
Do Vegans eat milk and eggs? Or do only some? As for me I couldn't live without meat, literally, I hate tofu, so I would probably die. I believe Vegans believe in being "animal free" as in getting rid of every animal product plus animal clothing. I think Vegetarians don't consume meat, but some of them do eat eggs, milk, etc. As for me, I'm not really a Vegetarian.
*princess*
I am a half-way vegitarian. ^_^ The only meats I eat are chicken and turkey, because I live in south Texas. (It's, like, a law!) Although I do eat dairy products. I get made fun of sometimes because I love animals so much, but I don't mind. I know they were put on Earth for us to eat, so that's why I sometimes eat meat. (TOFU IS YUCKY!!!) Glad find a fellow vegan on the net! :D
Fable
I'm not a vegetarian, I couldn't resist the urge to eat some tender pork-chops. x_x

antiaircraft
I'm not a vegetarian, although if I was put on a vegetarian diet it wouldn't matter so much. My policy for food is 'as long as it's edible'. :P

Ashley Rose
Actually I have heard of many people who consider themselves vegetarians that eat chicken and turkey. It's basically red meat those types of vegetarians don't eat. Oh and some vegetarians eat fish as well. Someone asked about vegans and the reply was correct, vegans don't eat anything with animal products, including eggs and all those types of things. I used to work in a food bank at my local crisis center so I learned a lot about this stuff! It's not easy to find products with no animal products included in them! And I agree about tofu, I tried it once and it was horrible! I myself eat meat, I probably could be a vegetarian but I'd just rather not be lol. DOOM Bringer
Wow congrats to any vegetarians here, it would take a lot of will power (for me at least) to not eat meat. Do you guys have to take tablets or anything to replace the vitamins/nutrients from meat?
*princess*
I used to take some vitamins. They tasted bad and I forgot to take them. Needless to say, vitamins + me = waste of money! ^_^
Parshy
Not really, we just have to eat a lot more of other foor to get the vitamins
antiaircraft
Tofu is delicious... If I remember some of my biology correctly, a vegetarian diet is actually much more energy efficient, since energy has not been lost from multiple organisms going up the food chain. ckayser
My mother has been a Vegitarian for 45 years. I remember when I was young she would take us to burger King and order a Whopper with No meat and it would be free. Later they started charging for the Cheese and tomato and it cost 10 cents. Now they make you pay through the nose. My father wouldnt let her go vegan so she eats seafood on occation. Dairy and eggs too. No red meat at all no fowl either. She can get sick from some one cooking eggs in bacon grease or even soup with chicken broth can put her in the hospital. I am a meat eater and get the best from both worlds. Great meat and great veggies. 2 jokes.... If God didnt want us to eat cows he would not have made them out of meat. 2 guys are in a bar one says he is vegan and cows cause more green gases and are harder on our ozone than cars and industy combined. He asks the other man what is doing to save the environment? The guy looks at the vegan finishes his drink and said... Im eating all the cows... 1 steak at a time. Guest HBK
Nope, I'm not a veggie, never was, actually. I like my meats and fishies. :P But I also love veggies, so a bit of all is balanced and healthy.
