"Opposites" Riddle

Where are the "hints" Metroid posted? I only came back to this topic around page 25, and I refuse to read all of the 25 pages I missed XD

 

Oh, and I know who three of the sentinals were, for whoever asked: Zac, Vivi and Crash. Still not sure who the last one was though.

Meeptroid's first hint is on pg 7 and then he starts posting poems from page 8 onwards. Was FSM the fourth sentinal? He seemed to know a lot about the plot

I can post the "clues" Metroid put up, but do you really want to read through them all?

 

This plot's name is certainly strange,

If only there is some way for it to change.

Don't think too hard,

As it will only stress.

If you think positively,

You can clean up this mess!

 

The final riddle is the challenge,

That's the point of the game.

The true way to finish the plot,

Is certainly all in it's name.

 

Gramana, or Managra?

Are either of those right?

Maybe those are incorrect,

Are you scrambling to win the fight?

 

Time ticks away,

As you process your mind.

Kalium? Potassium?

Are they the same kind?

 

Take a deep breath,

Don't you ever panic.

I hope that you all remember,

That this plot isn't that titanic.

 

Numbers may be of help,

Or maybe they are not?

Think logically as of now,

Are they vital to the plot?

Think for a minute.

What are the possibilities,

The riddles mentions opposites,

That's something to ponder.

Before you are scrambled,

Try not to wander.

 

It may seem hard,

It may seem tough.

Although the possibilities are endless,

A certain combination may be the right stuff.

 

A symbol in the corner,

What could that possibly mean?

Best not to worry about that now,

For getting an answer is not too keen.

 

The symbol throughout the plot,

Resmblance to a moon?

Not that it really matters,

Get back to the plot soon.

 

Time is running short,

Try not to ramble.

For if you think wisely,

You shouldn't be scrambled.

 

Reverse psychology is not what I'm using,

I'm saying things out straight.

If you think too hard about riddles,

Failure is your fate.

 

This puzzle is annoying,

My clues may seem amiss.

But if you look carefully,

You'll get to the bottom of this.

 

The answer lies beneath you,

Yet it's way over your head.

The puzzle is quite simple,

When you know what to shed.

 

Some things are lost,

Others are gained.

It should be quite obvious,

As to what you must obtain.

 

This hint of course,

Has quite a few keywords.

If you read it correctly,

You'll move ahead forward.

 

You could be correct,

My poems aren't too tough.

So I guess it wouldn't be harmful,

To analyze this stuff.

Probably ment discard.

If you analyze by poems,

They shouldn't be too hard.

The plot isn't that decieving.

Okay, I read though Metroid's hints - some are a little misleading, but others do mention combinations, the puzzle, and numbers so I think he was more trying to disguise the hints he was giving you, by putting them in with a load of nonsense - rather than purposely leading you astray.

 

The sentinals (or the three I know of anyway) only got given one hint that I think had anything to do with this final riddle... and even that was possibly more confusing than helpful XD It certainly confused me a great deal lol

Yeah the sentinel had1 hint containing this puzzle, (and even that didn't help).

When shadow and Motor mouth looks at the solution, They are going to hit themselves, Those 2 bits above (which were posted on Page 3, If you followed that up, and combined them, you would have gotten the answer :P

Yeah making riddles is tough, and you have to make sure, you don't make it to Obvious.

 

But How you would get the answer:

-Get The number code from the Puzzle (9 different combos)

-Make it opposite (so 1 = 9 (using the table in the last post)

 

And that would be the answer, They should have followed it up more.

Vivi, I didn't expect you too, obv.

 

Maybe he was being vindictive, maybe he did actually try to help. But at the end of the day, he led us away from the answer just as we were close. Regardless of this, you have no right to tell me how to act.

 

*sighs* But's cool y'know. It's our fault for believing Metroid. And no-one ever said underhanded tatics weren't allowed. I know that we not-quite-fantastic-but-clearly-blindingly-awesome worked really hard, and I'm proud of what we achieved.

Yes, some of my hints were a little confusing and not all that helpful. I apologize for that.

However, I began putting up helpful riddles that actually mentioned the puzzle:

That should've sent you back to the puzzle pieces. I suppose it didn't.

He didn't lead you away from the answer, Those 2 bits what I posted were from Page 3, He gave (quite an obvious hint) at Page 7. Yu prolly would have never had figured it out even if he didn't post the hint.

 

You had 4 pages, to figure it out before the hint, but you ignored them. and used different theories.

 

And im not telling you how to act.

Im just saying, he gave a hint (more than 1 hint) and you should be grateful.

Again. Telling me I should be grateful is telling me how to act, and hence what to do. Adding "have to" would just make that statement more forceful.

A constant referal to the title of the game, leading to further suggestion regarding anagrams, drawing many into an inevitable conclusion that language was the answer, and making every effort to not allow deviance from this conclusion. *breathes* And I agree, I've already made it clear that I regret listening to Metroid, and that it's our fault for listening to him in the first place.

Hey, I'm not angry. Just pedantic with Vivi. You may not believe me, but I'm over it. Like I said, the plot's finished, and the NQFBCBA board roamers did really well. *shakes your hand* well done on completing it :D
