do the way wearables display ever get changed?

I apologize for the poor subject phrasing - I'm not sure how to ask my question concisely! I wanted to ask in a way that was generic, but I think I will have to be specific or I will just confuse myself

I am looking at the new Lulu GMC items, and I see an item that looks potentially really cool - the Fanged Mutant Veil. None of the other prizes have impressed me so far. BUT (I left this in caps bc it's a huuuuuuge 'but')... when I try the item on, it removes wigs! I love the look of a veil, but I don't want my pets to have to be bald to wear one.

Have there ever been items that have been released a certain way then updated when people felt they just didn't look right? Is there a remote possibility that this wig-removal thing was unintentional and that in the future it won't do that?

It looks like it takes that "Hat/Wig" zone, which is what's causing this issue.

I am sure it is a zoning error and hopefully enough people bring it to their attention to fix. Markings, earrings, glasses would be far better suited as the item is very pretty!

Well, maybe I'll take the risk and grab a Lulu pack... it could be such an awesome and versatile wearable and there's really nothing else out there like it!
