Is it true that if you buy 4 months Premium you get instant Charter access?

So I just read an article in the NT because I had no idea what Charter was. There's a cable/internet/phone company with that name & I knew that couldn't be what you were talking about :p

I just looked this up - I am a premium member and it looks like I have access to all of the Charter boards... I didn't even know this was a thing! I'm pretty sure I read that you get access after only 3 months though.. I can't tell if buying in advance gives you instant access or not.. Sorry, best I could do ;)
